Why do people post rumours with no substance? (3 Viewers)

The trouble is when some of us post rumours or even unpublicised facts that are of substance they get tarred with the same brush

I heard recently that one of my neighbours is having an affair. Does this count as a rumour with no substance? Or is it just that - a rumour? :thinking about:

I am thinking of the mcg leaving for definite one and the acl deal. Much prefer discussing opinions and fellow fans thoughts. Don't mind fans sharing what they heard but people just make stuff up. Annoying

Is it as bad as someone saying we won't finish better than 14th this season after the start we had? :thinking about:

The threads I hate is when we're after someone or we want someone to sign, etc and they start a thread like "McGoldrick Signs!" and then in the message put "a cheque for his window cleaner" or something. Most amusing.
