@GIMOC gone abit quiet…Weird that

Not really

common theme in all this.

the last 18 months we’ve seen everyone bar Dean austin leave from Lawrence to robins to boddy

all under king regime

just think about that. why is that? when they all worked fine before that

Then you have Austin next to him tonight (unsure why) and king said the fitness of the players is the best it’s been according to the data down to the performance director

Your information contradicts other ITK tidbits here and one of the sources is incorrect. There’s a thread called ‘.’ (Edited by OP) where the insinuation is that this was forced on Robins. Someone’s ITK source is incorrect so I trust your info 50%.

There’s information wars at the club and there are sources have certain biased spins that they’re telling people like yourself.

Likewise, some ‘ITK’ info I’ve been privy to AV is probably wrong too. Based on Doug King’s comments earlier, MR didn’t want to work with AV there’s no insinuation that he was sacked for gross misconduct.

Maybe it was true but from MR’s POV’s rather than the club as a whole and the sources version of events is tilted towards certain characters at the clubs.

I don’t have an opinion either way. All I’m saying is what happened doesn’t appear to jive with what was said tonight.

This is ridiculous we're going down the "usual suspects", "Sisu apologists" road now. This is why we need to move on now. We've had our say, Kings had his, whether we believe him or not, it's done now. No need for supporters to rip lumps out of each other.

Your average company doesn't have thousands of very visible and vocaC stakeholders like a football club does TBF

Well he pulled the trigger, he chose the date, he has had several days to compose himself; he was still wobbly jelly under scrutiny. He is the owner. He can make the decisions he wants. But at least sound confident in your decisions or the situation.

The only weird thing he appeared to imply was that having no manager was better than having Robins. When he was pressed on why he had nobody lined up to replace him he hid behind the "well that would've been disrespectful" line. Something didn't sit right with that
WHat something? People would have been furious if a new manager had been appointed the day after Robins was sacked.

With regard to the Chris Ramsey episode, I’d be 100% confident that US is bang on the money.
To be fair regardless of who’s right or wrong on what happened with this, Chris Ramsey didn’t exactly fill me with any sort of confidence that he would have been the elite coach to turn things round.
His record at QPR and getting them to play great football isn’t exactly glowing so whatever happened him not coming in was the right result in my view.

To be fair I don’t doubt your source but wonder if his interview didn’t do as great as he thought it did.

I know several times in life when I’ve thought I’ve done well in one only to be told it was shite 🤣

Yea but doug king has said what he's said and it's all exactly correct , no conversations were held face to face and everything is as he said ..

All robins fault

Doug says its solely him who's running the club, that is worrying, don't most clubs have chief execs, directors etc. Some caller also mentioned Doug is being backed from somewhere which is what I've thought from when he first took over. Is someone whispering in his ear

Ay? He openly said he wants to get a DOF in to do the football side.

He said he speaks to a lot of people for advice who are in the game as well.

Admit it your sources were wrong. You therefore unintentionally misled fans.

He can speak to as many people as he likes, at the end of the day he is solely in charge

So just to confirm , all the people that applied for the number 2 role actually wanted to be number 1s and were hoping king would sack our 8 year manager in the interview ?

Maybe that adds weight to the idea that this sacking was planned, and it was therefore not a good idea to add an assistant if he might be sacked within weeks

I would have been interested to hear a lot more about the proposed role of head coach and what the difference is between that and Robins' role.

Yet we heard fuck all about it because of the the shite questions from both the audience and some of the CWR representatives.

No one was ever going to ask positive forward thinking questions unfortunately.

Who's going down the sisu apologist route?
Someone said you should always back the owner, I said did you support sisu, they said no.

Suddenly everyone's making out people are being accused of being sisu apologists when no one's said that.

All my point was is no, you don't have to back the owners. Nick who I'm disagreeing with on pretty much everything said it was weird to say you have to back the owners as well.

His point about the calibre of people they interviewed for the no.2 position, but didn’t appoint as no one wanted to be a no.2 and wanted to be a no.1, why did they apply in the first place?
The job was advertised at head of first team coaching - perhaps they didn't think that it would be assistant manager

Oh we’re in great shape. No manager, no manager in sight, no assistant manager, coaches that the owner just basically said are crap, huge division amongst the fanbase and an owner who has just made any applicant think twice about getting involved with this toxic shitshow. What’s not to like 😁
He didn’t say they were crap. He said we need an elite tactician.
