I may just be gullible, but I do trust DK. Sorry to see MR go, but Doug has more to lose from a financial POV than I or most other fans.

Doug did not have to do that. Why would he agree to do that forum, and then lie. It would make no sense.

I'm sure robins will have his take on things, and I'm sure dk is no mother Teresa, but the fundamentals will be correct. The management team split, and then hasn't been put back in a way that works. So doug stepped in before it's too late.

I thought doug spoke well. Let's look forward, whilst never forgetting what robins did fir the club. Nobody takingg credit away from him for that.

Now some of the dust is settling, won’t be completely done until after the new guy is in and we can see what changes have happened, I’ve been trying to take some emotion out.
‘If’ DK was behind all the coaching changes, I would expect MR to walk, as manager there are a few things you MUST have the final say, coaching staff, team selection, final say on any player signing, that’s not to say your wish list is fulfilled, and team tactics. Yes you should listen to opinions, but the final say must be yours.
Still think MR was the best thing to happen at CCFC for years if not ever, but believe what DK has said.

On reflection with all that's gone on, I was born in 64 so have no real memories of the Jimmy Hill days. My dad would always go on about them as, to him, watching the City home and away whilst going up the leagues was magical.

I'm 50/50 on King's rationalle at the forum, but ultimatley it's his decision and we have to move on, trust he'll get the right person, and support whoever takes the helm. Gutted it's ended up in a messy "divorce" and the gaffer walking the plank, because I really wanted to finish this story with a happy ending.

While it was just one step too much, my thanks to Mark and Adi - the last 7 years has been my Sky Blue Revolution. Dad, I'm with you now.

Agree, nothing is going to change the past. Even in the darkest times I supported the club, although I would not go to home
games outside the city on principle.
I would say that it is vitally important to understand the history of the club so that the errors of the past are not repeated. The owner has to answer to his decisions if it all goes pear shaped or extremely mediocre.
In some ways it is King who is not letting it go buy releasing information in dribs and drabs lately after his fans forum. Of course, they all say how wonderful he is, so his versions may have to be contested from time to time.

I remember in an interview just before the play off final Robins said that all new signings are given the story of the clubs recent history, and that they need to understand what it’s been through.

I wonder if the current intake have this explained to them?
