Binks is excellent with his feet.
Bobby Thomas isn’t bad either (yes, I know people will disagree with me on this).

Think he was above average in most in possession stats last season.Hello I am people

Always willing to receive the ball and tries to do the right thing with it.
Had a number of costly errors that stick in peoples minds though.
Luis Boa Morte has applied for the head coach role.
Not likely to the level that CovUSA is describing though.Binks is excellent with his feet.

Fan favourite Andy thornTo be fair we’ve tried all types …..
up and coming ….. Aidy Bothroyd, Pressley
Proven …. Tony Mowbray
Desperate ,.. Russell Slade
From the bookies list Keane, Bloomfield and Eustace in work - not sure they fit Dougs `elite tactician' profilenixon does imply the preferred candidate may be in a job..

I stand with Eirik Horneland and Henrik Rydstrom! From the bookies list Keane, Bloomfield and Eustace in work - not sure they fit Dougs `elite tactician' profile
So Ive immediately convinced myself we're bagging Holsten Von Viking from some Scando/Lowlands league with a 60% win ratio instead
I hope the same, Hammarby head coach Kim Hellberg is my European pick and domestically it's Carlos Corberan. From the bookies list Keane, Bloomfield and Eustace in work - not sure they fit Dougs `elite tactician' profile

I doubt he's the only one that would do this.....I hope the same, Hammarby head coach Kim Hellberg is my European pick and domestically it's Carlos Corberan.
If we got Corberan, there is zero doubt we would get promoted within the next 18 or so months.
The guy will come up fix up the defence and will then prioritise siging a Centre Back, Left Back and a Central Midfielder.
For me he is the only realistic option on the table that would make me turn around and say fair fucking play Doug, you've Got rid of a club legend but have replaced him with one of the elite coaches in this league.
Yeah regardless of manager it’s obvious the squad needs a left back and centre mid, if only to have the numbersI doubt he's the only one that would do this.....
Why would he leave WBA to join usI hope the same, Hammarby head coach Kim Hellberg is my European pick and domestically it's Carlos Corberan.

No way CC leaves WBA to come to us. Crazy.I hope the same, Hammarby head coach Kim Hellberg is my European pick and domestically it's Carlos Corberan.

All depends on whether the new owners keep breaking their promises to him:No way CC leaves WBA to come to us. Crazy.
He was linked to/allegedly turned down Leicester in the summer.
I bet WBA don't have a revolutionary 'gym' that's in a tent in a car park. Why would he leave WBA to join us

Glad to see there's another member of the Wilfried Nancy fan club here. He's absolutely my top pick for the job too.As many know, MLS / America is my area of expertise. There is one manager that any overseas club would be crazy not to consider right now.
Wilfried Nancy (Columbus) - French coach who is by far and away the best tactical manager currently in North America. Absolutely brilliant. The two teams he has managed experienced immediate improvement. He plays a high-possession beautiful brand of football. Honestly, I think he is destined for a Ligue 1 job sooner rather than later.
The only downside for his fit with Coventry would be that it would likely require a bit remaking of the backline. He absolutely demands that his CDs be able to pass and be excellent with their feet to the point that he often plays only one true CD with the LCD and RCD being converted fullbacks.
Would this guy even be on our radar?Glad to see there's another member of the Wilfried Nancy fan club here. He's absolutely my top pick for the job too.
If we're using StatsBomb and our analytics department, he would definitely show up in the search as a high-performing manager.Would this guy even be on our radar?
How would Austin/King/Roberts be aware of him!? (How are you even aware of him!?)
Also, I wonder if they are only accepting applicants - would they actively seek out a potential candidate?
I hope we are using a more informed approach...If we're using StatsBomb and our analytics department, he would definitely show up in the search as a high-performing manager.
If we're just going through CVs on the table, then it's not going to happen. But I would really, really hope that we are being proactive and contacting managers in jobs to see if they'd be interested.
(I know about him as I have a small interest in MLS and watched a YouTube video last year about how his tactics are killing it in MLS and how he's potentially the best coach outside Europe right now)
Man Utd did it ....Are we allowed to approach managers in jobs?
We can ask for permission to speak to their employees. Are we allowed to approach managers in jobs?
Got to be honest if it’s domestic, would love to see us go for Skubala at Lincoln. Really good attacking manager who if I’m not wrong was a coach at our youth academy.nixon does imply the preferred candidate may be in a job..

You ask their agent to see if they would be interested before starting any official talks. Are we allowed to approach managers in jobs?
Who's name dropping?
He did a bit in our academy whilst still working as a teacher,I like his profile a lot tbh but note that he doesn't even feature in the betting market (which is odd).Got to be honest if it’s domestic, would love to see us go for Skubala at Lincoln. I'm not too sure everyone on here would take too kindly to having a Nancy in charge to be honest .As many know, MLS / America is my area of expertise. There is one manager that any overseas club would be crazy not to consider right now.
