Week tomorrow already .. already a fair amount of time to have whittled down and have interviewed people .

I don't think we will have somebody for sheffield united which IMHO would be stupid

The approx desired timescale is for whoever to be in place early December to give them a chance to assess the squad and determine whats needed to be brought in in January

No. I genuinely don’t think he’s that far through the process or would make a snap decision. We didn’t get battered by top of the league so he probably feels he’s got a bit of time with two arguably free hit games coming up anyway.

If the right candidate is ready and willing to start, why do think it would it be stupid?

still Think director of football comes in first, what’s the point of getting a head coach in before that, 2 positions to fill, surprised if we’ve got somebody in before the hull game on the 14th

I don’t think so , also I don’t want DK to rush into it . He needs to get this right and the right man/woman 🧐 needs to have the hunger for the post . This is now getting serious so we need no fucking journeyman/journey woman after a pay day for the sake of it . 🤔

Why are you saying 'right woman/journeywoman'? He's blatantly not gonna hire a woman is he? No need to score Internet points

Stop being sexist , I would take that German bird who managed England. Bit of eye candy on the touch line in a short skirt low top ?

Lee Carsley will need a break after the England games.
Probably start on the pay roll December 1st.

He's been working with the England players for 1 week out of the last month And he needs a break. 😂😂😂

I reckon Sarina Wiegman would be more likely to succeed than some of the guys we've been mentioned. And if it's publicity we're after, that would do the trick!
I used to travel all over watching England, totally boring in the end and gave up . Although the trips 🍻🍻🍻 was brilliant. The woman’s football team are miles better to watch as well. So let’s move on I say

I’ll be disappointed if we don’t get a new boss in pretty quickly. Accept we could lose to Sheffield United and Burnley even with a new coach but given Doug has been thinking about getting rid for at least a month it seems remiss to not have already had a shortlist drawn up.

If he’s serious about still making the playoffs then he needs to give the new guy as many games as possible to get there.

Saw it mentioned elsewhere but as we also seem to want a Sporting director do they need appointing first before a new coach? Would seem counter intuitive to put a head coach in that a sporting director hasn’t been involved in appointing.

I’m hoping there’s a plan otherwise the decision to ditch MR looks more and more reckless.

May be a clever move by DK to make the appointment after SU and Burnley. Save the new coach having 2 straight defeats on his record.

Not in the dugout, in the stands with a watching brief having only 'just met the players', so they can be attributed some credit if we get a result or officially take the reins after the match if we don't.
