I know everybody hates polls so feel free to ignore that bit.

Felt he deserved his own thread rather than being discussed elsewhere. I feel most people aren't that excited but he has some pluses. e.g. Links with the club/city, high profile, links with the FA, should have excellent knowledge of up and coming talent both here and abroad.

I'll let everyone else do the negatives when we are getting battered by Greece. ;)

Less baggage than Frank, local and has links. I could get behind that.

Will judge him after these two England games though, made some big calls so shows he's not hiding.

Carsley doesn’t excite me at all.

Managing an England youth team is decent prep for the senior but I think it’s worlds away from a club side.
Might suit us though.

Definitely a head coach over a manager, key at developing young players and bringing them onto a higher level.

Will have connections in the game like Lampard or RVD would have to bring in quality coaches and players (loans).

Local to the area and has motivation to stay at the project (Turner was saying how last time he was here he felt he had unfurnished business as he was in the relegation squad from the prem).

Finally plays good attacking football which will be interesting to watch.

We could do a lot a lot worse imo. Think he suits the project the most out of the top three.

Just a bit boring isn't it.

Irony is, I'm saying that as he's literally managing England at this current moment.

Watkins will score some goals sure , not sure dropping kane for Watkins will ever be vindicated tbh

Also I think it shows he's brave enough to make big decisions (even if you don't agree with it) if he thinks it will benefit the team, that's a good thing imo

I'm sure those brave decisions were appreciated when we lost 3-0 at home to Greece
