McGoldrick stay!!!!

As fans there's not a lot more we can do than what we did at the end of the game today to get him to stay.

If he ends up leaving us after this it just proves there's no loyalty in football and that money talks.

Yeah, it means he got his 5th booking today, so is banned for it! He'll play against Shrewsbury though.

Loyalty works both ways. If he had scored 1 goal in 20 would you be saying because he tried hard we should keep him?

There is crazy money available for kicking a ball around, even at lower levels, I wouldn't blame him for one minute

The crazy money is not about as much now.

Does a player getting booked when scoring look like a player that don't care for is? Has he been offered anything by anyone?

In the balance for me

If he purely goes for money then its a sad state of affairs in his current position. If he goes now it will likely be more down to his greedy agent and Forest trying to cash in !!

It's completely out of his hands! If Forest want to sell him then they'll sell him to the best offer they can get, in that situation McGoldrick leaves to whoever pays the most money.

The ideal scenario for him is that he gets loaned back to us for the second half of the season, he records a 30 goal tally for the season (which looks great on a striker's cv) and then he can reassess his options as a free, but wanted, agent in the summer. He could even more offered a better deal as a free agent as their is no transfer fee involved.

However, Forest would only allow this deal to be done if we offer something which matches their other best offer, which I don't believe is within our means.
