That list is pathetic, if they are the best of the “elite” coaches applying to our job it shows we really aren’t appealing as first thought

So if all true, two questions?

Do we know next steps and do we know if Evatt is number 5 😝

I mean it’s not terrible, Lampard well discussed, I like Esutace and think with backing he could do a job. Not a fan of Bloomfield, and think while he could be good, we should wait on this one for a couple of years.

Real question is do we trade it all for the fourth option mystery box

It is terrible, not one outside the box or exciting option in there. Stinks of lack of effort

Stinks of Lampard being lined up weeks ago and due process being followed before the inevitable underwhelming unveiling of him
My read on it right now is that Lampard has been the #1 option the whole way through, Doug was probably aware he would be interested before he sacked Robins.

I'm sure a process has been conducted, but more from a standpoint of making sure Lampard is the man rather than an open view.

The timing has been deliberate to get Sheff Utd and Burnley out of the way in the knowledge that the new manager won't have much leeway with fans and two defeats to start could be very damaging.

This is of course all speculation but it's what everything seems to point to.

That’s ridiculous though, we can’t just be writing 6 points off

This argument that we aren’t appointing the manager yet so he doesn’t start his career here with 2 losses is pathetic defeatist crap

@GIMOC you didn't rate Robins and don't want Lampard. You dislike Austin, Dr Clare and King. You think we wasted £40m most of our players are shit and you take a sleight at Sheaf, yet you claim to be a City fan.

Fekkin Leicester Fox shows less disregard for our club than you. Tbh I wish you'd disappear rather than spread your hatred and bullshit on this site.

*edit, Dom pointed out Robins supporter and agree, wrong ITK on that so I retract, but stand by the rest.

The players & Carr showed at Sunderland they can get results in tough games. Points aren't being written off.

Realistically it's just a good decision, imagine if we lost heavily at home to Sheff Utd on tele with Hamer/O'Hare scoring. Would be an absolute disaster for the new manager.
