Good motivated team performance.
Thomas showing his potential.
Thought EMC was decent, shows some promise.
BTA and Simms down the middle disappointing. Need more threat from them.

Would have settled for point before game but feel we should have won that. Better side throughout (but weak defensively for both their goals) but not quick thinking enough around box

Don’t think we did enough to win it personally. Too many bad individual decisions on the ball. Still, would have taken 2-2 before kick off and thought there was a lot to be encouraged by from aspects of the performance. They’re clearly a good side, even if they are a bunch of snide pricks. Imagine they’ll get autos and probably only concede about 40 goals all season.
We did, their keeper has made some good saves and we've missed some good chances.

I think the formation change worked too. We needed to push forward. Wrong subs. Would have kept Norman on and took Eccles off over Torp who I thought was fantastic

8 home games. Conceded 2 goals in 6 of those 8. CBS is more like a bouncey castle, rather than a fortress. Defenders are abysmal. No doubt the usuals will get 7/10.

Cannot keep relying on trying to score 2 or 3 goals a game just to try to grab a point!

BTA should have won it for us really. Piss poor header. Strayed offside when he didn't need to. Disappointing

Looks worse each week. Bassette already looked a better player.

The changes of Norm and Torp off did not work

No. But I don't think Torp has 90 minutes in him yet and Bassette was going to be very much a target.

What undone us more, was Eccles picking up another stupid booking for dissent and we had to sub him.

Nothing wrong with talking to refs and asking questions - but he has to learn how to do it and quickly.

We were so deep in their box at times and nobody dared to just have a go and shoot. Only MVE tried a shot that hit the post and went out. That was disappointing.

He’s a left wing back. I’m far far more bothered by Thomas and Binks having all the structural integrity of a Malteser
The same Thomas who got man of match from sky? I may not quite agree with that, but certainly says he isn't the confectionery you make him out to be.

The new Head Coach will be excited to work with these players (presumably he watched the game) we controlled the game. Sheffield’s time wasting for the whole 2nd half tells you all you need to know. The Hound is going to be huge!

Dasilva although sleeping for their first was excellent. Thomas a rock. Sheaf back to his best. Saka lively when he came on.

Point is the defence as a whole is shaky, the CBs and keeper are far more the issue than a wingback.
