I'd be pretty confident there are a fair chunk of our ST holders who other than knowing that SISU were bad probably do not know the full extent of our problems in the past
Spot on.

Well actually judging by the crowds
A lot of us were not
Why? Because he could then see how condescending his prick truly is?So I assume you aren't hoping for Doug wearing just a Santa hat and nothing else behind door 24 of your CCFC advent calendar?
What if King is right ?
What if Mark is not as good without a high quality coach along side him ? What if he was refusing to bring one in ?
What if tactically Mark is a bit short of what it takes at the top of the pyramid ?
King has several huge advantages over us.
He’s watched Mark at work most days, he’s discussed the issues with Mark in detail on multiple occasions, he’s heard what the players think of the relative merits of Mark and Adi, he will have heard what other people in the game think about Marks capabilities to take us to the next stage again.
We don’t have hardly any of those insights and yet some fans can’t open their mind to the very idea that King could be right. It’s very odd behaviour.
Why ?He’s admitted he’s not a footballing man, he even mentioned he’s been getting advice from “ footballing people “ safe to say whoever has been giving him that advice will be coming in with the new head coach,
I take King's words about Mark insistence on us having a flat coaching structure with a pinch of salt as we only have one side of the story and I expect will continue to only have one side of that story.
He meant regarding the football side of things,Why ?
If he’s been talking to other CEO’s in the football world they wont be joining him .
Make your bloody mind up, Hill.
You're more wobbly than a jelly.
Can you link please Nick?Robins has given his side of the story about the coaching structure.
Just because you use words with a few syllables doesn’t mean you’re intelligent.
I can be a top c**t but I’m good at my job. Doug King is a narcissistic c**t who’s shit at his job at our club, you’ve had a thesaurus last year for Christmas so you think you’re a clever c**t, when really you’re just as thick a c**t as everyone else apologising for good old Dougie Queen.
And you wonder why the media etc don't engage with you.
It's from when the coaching structure changed. Can you link please Nick?
I genuinely do not get the hate DK gets. Cleared the clubs debts, got rid of the awful owners. Made us much more sustainable and progressive as a club. This is true.
For me he ain't written anything wrong. It was a nice read. People having meltdowns about small things like this I worry for mental health wise.
I got on yesterday thanks! Doug Queen apologist.
And yes all hail Lord Rob Gurney, another Cov Kid that Quit
The Lampard fiasco ? he‘s doing exactly what he told us he’d do, it’s a massive decision he’s made, I’d be taking my time as well,Sadly, in Doug King we have the worst of all worlds, a ruthless businessman (you have to be to get to his position) with no football knowledge who is 100% in charge and is therefore reliant on “advice” from Underling Advisors too afraid to challenge.
A great example is the Lampard fiasco:
DK says to one of his underling advisors “my mate knows Lampard, says he’s great, what do you think?”
Underling advisor replies “er, yes he’s great Doug, just like you”, despite really thinking, “really, why would anyone go for someone with such a terrible managerial record”.
And so, there we are, the Lampard era begins.

By fiasco, I purely mean appointing Lampard, rather than the time taken. The Lampard fiasco ? he‘s doing exactly what he told us he’d do, it’s a massive decision he’s made, I’d be taking my time as well,
In my view it is when you act like one in situations you know nothing about.Being a ruthless businessman isn't a bad thing, is it?
Whoever comes in it’s a risk, there’s nobody who’s available who you can say is def the right man, lampards managed in the championship once and nearly got derby promoted if he’d of stayed at derby a bit longer he might have done even better, the next season, took the Chelsea job too early ( you can’t blame him) but did ok, everyone struggles at Everton and his 2nd go at Chelsea was just to fill in, he could be perfect for us,By fiasco, I purely mean appointing Lampard, rather than the time taken.
This!God I miss the halcyon days of Sisu and Wasps. Selling players to fund the following season, poor pitches, moved from our dressing room and having just two stands full of supporters. The endless conversations about the legality of the council selling our ground and our owners pursuing both them and Wasps for compensation. I hate the fact we now have stability on and off the pitch it's just boring in comparison. Seriously there are some bedwetters on this thread that probably think they will fall off the edge of the earth if they walk to far. We all admired Robins but DK thought he had reached his ceiling, god forbid Joy turning up to answer supporters questions. You all need to calm the histrionics down it's fucking embarrassing.
I hope you are right - personally though, I think Lampard will be too expensive, have too many demands and lose interest quickly.Whoever comes in it’s a risk, there’s nobody who’s available who you can say is def the right man, lampards managed in the championship once and nearly got derby promoted if he’d of stayed at derby a bit longer he might have done even better, the next season, took the Chelsea job too early ( you can’t blame him) but did ok, everyone struggles at Everton and his 2nd go at Chelsea was just to fill in, he could be perfect for us,

I am actually not disappointed about Robins going, just desperately disappointed that King is focusing on a “friend of a friend” instead of looking for some talent.
Accept what tho? Other than reluctantly sacking the manager what has he done that makes him a terrible owner???We once had sisu so submissively accept anything as long as it's not them.
No thanks.

You need to suck it up, you don't pull any strings. 90% of supporters hated Sisu and all the complaints and protests achieved fuck all. You now think you can do the same with a man who has saved the club, theoretically speaking from previous idiots and far less of the fan base are in agreement with you. Carry on screaming at the wind, the rest of us have moved on.We once had sisu so submissively accept anything as long as it's not them.

Is there anything you like about Doug? Anything you've been happy with that he's done?
