You wouldn't want to leave your girlfriend alone with him around would you. Looks like a right slimey bastard.

Then again, having said that, this is SBT... There's no doubt a few on here that would enjoy that sort of thing.

I see everyone is quite chipper at the moment over this.

Let's see the change on your faces when it happens to us next time.

Blood, thunder and piss, no doubt.

Has anyone thought that Norm blew a kiss and winked at their bloke, because he was being abused by him.
Perfect response if someone is giving you verbals, just smile and blow them a kiss. Winds them up something rotten.

Its happened to City more times than I can count over the years and I've long believed that we need to have a bit of needle or the dark arts.

Maybe Bassette overreacted with the rolling on the floor, but generally I was happy to see him winding up the opposition, getting in the defenders heads and ultimately getting a reaction out of it.

The ref's missed what I thought was a blatant red card for an elbow on MVE during the commotion, although I couldn't tell you which Blades player it was.

Yeah, I thought that might be the case too. That they called him a cheat and that in response he winked and blew a kiss, because they were riled

It was Souza I think, their number 21 and captain.

Of course Norman Bassette was getting a load of abuse wouldn't be Sheffield United would it.

As corporal Jones says "they don't like it up 'em"
