Well yeah she’s the director of performance so she gets data for analysis and for sports science(fitness) basically acting as the boss of our sport science and analysis departments.

Got to be careful about rumours as we all know. But fair enough each to their own. Wish the club would do more interviews so there was less blind spots

A Director level position is above a manager or a Head of. Only King will be above her at the moment, and a DoF will be alongside her if one comes in.

How many goals in the Kate stages of the match against Burnley?

Zero

This is irrational Malc.

Perhaps look at coaches and players involved in the match on the day versus a performance director. Unless, you believe it was her fault for the late goals we’ve scored and won the game?

Does she deserve credit for the wins v Luton, Oxford and the draw v Sunderland and Sheff U?

Careful you get accused of rewriting and dismissing robins history if you call it down the middle

How is taking a comment out of context calling it down the middle?
You seem to be diving in where you perceive certain people getting criticised far more than you're commenting on games or the potential new manager, but of course, you're 'seeing it down the middle' :ROFLMAO:

I hope Lampard has learned from his previous experiences and will be a good appointment. I’m not overly optimistic though. I imagine the likes of Eccles, Andrews etc will learn a lot from him

Fair enough but wasn't our manager situated as in charge on field due to the absence of a DOF? If so that muddles where the hierarchy is but I concede she has a big role at the club.

Found a good article on the role itself

So since Wingys post on page 137 who's attributed poor results to her?
1 person at most, (though not sure Shmmees even done that), that's not 'people'.

I really cba litigating who said exactly what and when. I still don't think it's wide of the mark (LOL) to say there's not much acceptance on here of MR's culpability for our results, given the facts re: who had final say over decisions made re: personnel.

It's mainly the people who wanted Robins sacked who keep going on about him!

Yeah possibly. I can accept MR was DoF in effect, but they and Doug will form the leadership team. Probably Lampard until a DoF comes in too. That’s what makes her uniquely open to criticism for the overall state compared to say Boateng or Carr, because she does have a wider responsibility. It’s not sexist to point that out. I think both the criticism and defence of her has gone a bit too far, but she’s a big girl in a big job so I’m sure can handle appropriate questioning on what her impact has been so far.

Given the video someone posted earlier about Lampards time at Derby and the impact of Morriss I'm going to be a bit disappointed, if, as rumoured, he's not part of the coaching set up
Think he could really help some of our players.

A board Director is. We have loads of people with Director in their title who are mostly only sales.

I’m sure many on here have described the current crop of players as being pretty psychologically weak, even Robisn commented on how badly affected they are by criticism.

Robins had final sign off on all signings and supposedly interviews each prospective signing too.

By that logic, if you believe we should sack Dr Roberts, you must support sacking Robins.

Might have been safer to refer to her as a grown up rather than a “big girl”.

That’s fair but it’s finding the area where to criticise if you know what I mean.

Don’t think anyone this year has surrounded themselves in glory but think it’s appropriate to only pull people on what there responsible for like the whole Adi saga not being Doug’s choice.

Ultimately he had eight years of success and maybe six months of decline so the balance was more in his favour than those who came in and only had decline on their record.

I still think 14 games isn’t a long time to give your entirely new top to bottom structure time to bed in. And if it was Adi All Along, the wisdom in letting Robins get rid of him and remake the staff in his image. Ultimately even if he lost some of his teams skillset he did actually have one of his own and the meme has become that he was useless forever and it was all Viveash, which is complete nonsense.
