Worst home performance of the season by a mile.

Only player who looked any good was Binks.

Da Silva can fuck off, useless.

Defence = hapless
Midfield = average
Forwards = busy but ineffective

We need some aggression and old fashioned nous.

MvE’s worst game in a Cov shirt. Overall it was pretty dire, but I’m not sure any of it is terminal so much as a lack of confidence and in turn fluidity.

Bassette offered very little and should now be dropped for Simms but there is no point doing that unless Frank can get some confidence into him because without it there is no player who’s drop off is more extreme than his.

To be fair simms won the penalty and Asante Thomas actually offered a bit of threat

Sheaf!?

What has happened, looks a totally different player compared to last season. Just going through the motions, offers absolutely nothing going forward and the tempo is so below what you would expect for the captain. Sets the tone for everyone else.

Touted as a premier league pick up the end of last year, be lucky to get a Lower half championship move if he continues like this.

I honestly don't think he looks considerably worse. He's always had the same limitations. I think it has just taken some people a while to notice.

Probably makes sense given that we've had a prolonged period of playing shit. When you are winning games these things aren't noticed as much, and people care less.

I've said it before and I'll say it again till I'm sky blue in the face, Binks and Dasilva = 2 Goals conceded every game.

Neither are Championship quality, and the same can be said for all 3 keepers, Dovin may well improve, but Collins and Wilson need moving on.

On today's performance, Eccles Sheaf and MVE were well below their best, in fact Sheaf has been a shadow of his former self since coming back from injury.

We got a lucky point today due to playing one of the few teams in this league that are actually worse than we are.

I only hope that FL has had a wake up call.

Collins 5 (when you want a brick wall you get paper)
Van Erwijk 4 (starting to wonder if pace is his only asset)
Thomas 5 (passing woeful)
Binks 6 (part of a shaky defence but at least he is willing to drive forward with the ball)
DaSilva 6 (retained the ball better than most but is always going to be a weakness with his lack of height and pace)
Eccles 4 (worse game of the season. Was giving players acres of space at times. Was he intimidated by playing for Lampard. Looked like it)
Sheaf 7 motm (one of the only players that look like they can take a ball without panicking)
Rudoni 7 (thought he was excellent first half with his movement and link play but not involved enough second)
Sakamoto 6 (vision and technique for the assist was excellent but faded second half)
Bassette 5 (good movement and endeavour but two good chances with his head squandered)
Mason-Clark 6.5 (nice run and finish for the goal and put in some decent crosses)

Torp 7 (decent penalty under pressure and certainty more progressive than most)
Simms 6 (although the outcome may have been different, I would have liked him to have stepped forward for the pen. Workrate off the ball was better)
Thomas-Asante 6 (looked sharp and gave good energy)

Load up the turd reactions.

But Sakamoto is a one trick pony bag of shite. Absolute fanny.

Consistently out of position. Panics unless he’s got 5 seconds to get the ball under control to do his little trick, and if the time isn’t there feeds the ball back into whoever passed it to him leaving them in trouble.

Rudoni 7 is absolutely mental. Game of opinions I know but thought he was terrible.

Doesn’t offer enough and seems to just stand in positions he can’t get the ball. We need three in the middle to protect our abysmal defence - Rudoni is a passenger at times.

MVE, Dasilva worst players today closely followed by sheaf, Eccles and Binks.

Not to say the others were much better.

at least the subs gave something but they all look shot of confidence. Defence is clearly desperate and needs change.

FL has his work cut out.

I would say rudoni 7 for the first half, 3 for the second personally.

he didn’t used to be, was amazing to watch as you wouldn’t know what he would do. Since the injury he’s been half the player he was.

Thought he was involved in most things going forward and I was watching how he was taking up excellent positions. Would have scored him a 8 first half but then he couldn't maintain his involvement second half but he still retained the ball okay.

That’s my worry with Simms. Imagine being a striker who’s just won a penalty and then let’s someone else take it. That’s what sets players like Gyokeres apart, he’s grabbing that ball and there is no one that can stop him. Simms needs some of that attitude.

BINKS LOOKED GOOD???? Is this a wind up 😂😂😂😂

Have you not seen the last 10 or so games, he's absolutely shit, as is Thomas.

They can't defend and they are league 1 level.
He has a nice left foot on him and that seems to fool many. Doesn’t communicate and was bullied today. Shite. Nowhere near good enough.

I have a season ticket, so unfortunately, I have seen the majority.

Binks and Thomas are left woefully exposed by their fullbacks, consistently. That is our problem at the back, rather than the centre halves themselves.

You say the same thing even if we had Maldini and Cafu as our fullbacks.

They are league 1 talents.
