Jokes, mainly I think.Oh what's he said? Innuendo jokes or actual trying it on?
Seems a bit strange. Surely you figure out your audience before cracking jokes.
A true scumbag, nothing unusual for the BBC.
I didn't know that, about him, the hooligan thing.Horrible weird looking prick, the fact he’s a Millwall fan and used to be a football hooligan doesn’t surprise me at all
Yeah me neither till I saw it today. Has a Millwall badge in his chest tooI didn't know that, about him, the hooligan thing.
Wasn’t he walking around naked with a sock covering his cock?Time and a place for everything and he's clearly overstepped the mark, doubling down not helping him. But ... are we really now at the stage where someone can be sacked for 13 year old inappropriate comments? Not racist, not homophobic merely inappropriate. I understand why women find it hard to talk about rape and other serious incidents for a long time, but a few hurty comments either call it out or move on. Feels like a massive unnecessary witch hunt.
If he has I've not seen that. The only direct reference I've seen was Kirsty Wark moaning about 2 comments on the show back in 2011Wasn’t he walking around naked with a sock covering his cock?
Hardly hurty comments are they
Got to disagree.Time and a place for everything and he's clearly overstepped the mark, doubling down not helping him. But ... are we really now at the stage where someone can be sacked for 13 year old inappropriate comments? Not racist, not homophobic merely inappropriate. No. Not heard anything. Please tell me everyone has seen Rod Stewarts comments.
Sure I do understand what you're saying and have both wife and daughter, although I'd like to think they would call it out at the time not part of a pile on some years after. If they didn't feel empowered to I'd get it more, but celebrity status that are jumping on him in the past decade would've certainly had profile and platform before now to do so.Got to disagree.
Maybe these comments are old, but something tells me he's not the type to stop doing it.
Imagine it was one of your relatives getting these comments, say a daughter. Would you feel happy about it and him keeping his job?
As balance, I have no idea if he was ever asked to stop because those involved were too scared to tell him to. If they did and he still carried on then yes, he definitely deserves to lose his job. Even if not, anyone with interpersonal skills should notice when people are feeling uncomfortable and stop.
I think he's a typical old-fashioned guy who thinks he's the dog's bollocks and as a TV personality has deluded himself that women like it and it makes them feel special. Think there is also a bit of mid-life crisis/dirty old man in there to, as his wife is quite a bit younger than him.
I'm not saying that this should blight his entire career going forward, even if I do think he acts like a bit of a twat, because as it stands it doesn't seem he's done anything 'abusive', but he should have been apologetic and be more careful with his behaviour in future. His response thus far hasn't helped him in the slightest.
It appears that complaints were made at the time but the BBC did nothing.Sure I do understand what you're saying and have both wife and daughter, although I'd like to think they would call it out at the time not part of a pile on some years after. Why am I only hearing of this stuff now?Gets the gym to open 30 mins early just for him. Then spends 90 mins with his autistic son that he didn't want before gaming for 2 hours. Sounds a lovely fella
Why am I only hearing of this stuff now?
Just always seemed a bubbly, cockney, cheeky chap.
Suddenly now I am hearing about all this stuff.
All new information to me. Mind, I have never followed his career at all. He’s a very strange man.
Married 4 times to younger women. Would only have a child if his latest wife moved her mother in so they could still have “personal time” He schedules a meeting with his young son in his diary and operates like that in everything.
Yea let's just hang him now without the outcome of an investigation.Saying lewd and sexually inappropriate things to female contestants on MasterChef. Not his fault though it's just those middle-class middle-age women who don't get "banter".
Allegedly after an hour of meeting Kirsty Allsopp he was telling her all about the sex acts he and his missus likes doing every morning. Getting enjoyment of making her feel uncomfortable and embarrassed.
What a misogynist c**t. Hope he never works again.
He’s basically admitted it today you daft sodYea let's just hang him now without the outcome of an investigation.
Twat.
The BBC have form for ignoring inappropriate behaviour…Yea let's just hang him now without the outcome of an investigation.
Twat.
Yea let's just hang him now without the outcome of an investigation.
Twat.
Not sure if they've since fallen out but weren't they best men to eachothers wedding or something similar I recall? Or perhaps godfather?Maybe this is why John Torode thinks he’s a c**t?
