Did not need to be.well Lampard wasn’t at the game today
1) We were on TV; and 2) He saw us beat Exeter at Wembley... he's got it all worked out from that!

He wouldn’t be there as the cameras would have picked up on him…..don’t want to spoil dougs big announcement lolwell Lampard wasn’t at the game today
would be a good appointment for us tbhIs it too late to bin off Lampard and get Steve Cooper in?
Just watched a press conference he did (in English) on YT.Asked Chat GTP for a couple of leftfield suggestions, this one sounds interesting
Kjetil Knutsen is a Norwegian football manager currently leading Bodø/Glimt, where he has achieved remarkable success since taking charge in 2018. Under his leadership, the club won their first-ever Norwegian league title in 2020 with an outstanding record, including 103 goals and only one defeat, and followed it up with another league title in 2021. His tactics emphasize high pressing, wing overloads, and a style reminiscent of Jurgen Klopp’s gegenpressing, combined with a focus on passing triangles and possession-based football. Knutsen's methods also include mental toughness training, integrating a mental coach to ensure his players remain psychologically strong
Knutsen has made waves in European competitions, most notably defeating Jose Mourinho’s Roma 6-1 in the Europa Conference League and reaching the quarter-finals of the 2021/22 season. He has been linked with clubs in more prominent leagues, such as Brighton, Southampton, and Burnley, reflecting his growing reputation as a forward-thinking and adaptable coach
Given his proven track record of improving teams, cultivating a strong mentality, and employing dynamic tactics, Knutsen could be an exciting fit for Coventry City, particularly if the club seeks a progressive manager to implement a long-term vision
Ajax tried for him but couldn’t agree terms, he apparently gets a % of player sales so it’s going to take more than a bottom half Championship club to tempt him.And his style of football is brilliant to watch, outsmarted Jose, his team beat Roma 6-1 and Ange, would welcome him as head coach over lampard, I just hope DK has considered him
Still worth going for him, if he says no then it's no but he might see something he likes in us, a good young squad that's exciting, wanting prem football, clubs facilities really good.Ajax tried for him but couldn’t agree terms, he apparently gets a % of player sales so it’s going to take more than a bottom half Championship club to tempt him.
Depending on the percentage and club sales, he’s got a very good deal there.Ajax tried for him but couldn’t agree terms, he apparently gets a % of player sales so it’s going to take more than a bottom half Championship club to tempt him.
Totally agree. If we win tonight, I’d say save the money for a bit longer. Its a big decision and we don’t want some expensive media darling for the sake of it. We need someone who can turn the sows ear into something somewhat better!
You not going on Saturday then?If it’s lampard I’m never going a game again
Spot on, as always.I reckon it'll be Lampard.
Heat of the moment lol, think we were all a bit angry that dayYou not going on Saturday then?
Not happening now but for the record he's got bolton back to being level with the playoffs after picking up 2 PPG over the last 10 games .Depends on the person.
Not generally sure due to the dread Lampard seems to give some people (completely unfair for me). But I get your point, just for me it’s Evatt.

Maybe one day mate

Jesus fecking Christ did Frank shag his wife or somethingFrank Lampard's Coventry City™ had their three good minutes • The Square Ball
Lampard has admitted he's learned nothing about football coaching, but apparently he's now an expert babysitter. Gotcha. Hold the head, Frank.thesquareball.net
Ruben has been a great manager at reading. Would have been a good shout but I get the impression he doesn’t want to leave don’t know why.Selles is doing a fantastic job at Reading with the restrictions he’s under, summer business consisted of one loan signing on deadline day.
Lol I doubt it but I think he has valid points. I hope I'm wrong but I can see this going tits up. DK wastes more transfer money on dud signings that FL may want.Jesus fecking Christ did Frank shag his wife or something
I don’t mate. The fact he has a massive go about the second spell at Chelsea when he went on about all his experiences and how he’s spent time with different coaches says it all .Lol I doubt it but I think he has valid points. I hope I'm wrong but I can see this going tits up. DK wastes more transfer money on dud signings that FL may want.
Old cliche but I guess time will tell.I don’t mate. The fact he has a massive go about the second spell at Chelsea when he went on about all his experiences and how he’s spent time with different coaches says it all .
Just seems aggro in his article and completely ignores the context of our season and even the first half.
Football is a game of opinions ultimately but this is just lazy imo. On your note, it’s a funny one as last year most of us thought the squad was decent with some clever signings. Players are still in there, just need confidence to bring it out.
Of course if it goes tits up, I’ll be back on the Evatt brigade
Older than time itself I thinkOld cliche but I guess time will tell.
Ah just worked it out, it’s a Leeds fan mag. No wonder they dislike himLol I doubt it but I think he has valid points. I hope I'm wrong but I can see this going tits up. DK wastes more transfer money on dud signings that FL may want.
As old as me, I genuinely hope you come on here at the end of the season and say see you was wrong about FL.Older than time itself I think
I wouldn’t because we’re all cov fans and that shit quickly backfires .As old as me, I genuinely hope you come on here at the end of the season and say see you was wrong about FL.
Be great if we finally went up after all these years especially for the you get fans who have never seen us in the top flight. Plus realise football existed before the PL.I wouldn’t because we’re all cov fans and that shit quickly backfires .
Ultimately we can’t change the decision or get Doug to listen, let’s all hope for the best and back him as much as we can.
As one of the those fans who’ve never seen us in the top flight, I’d love it for a season but genuinely think the championship is the best league in EnglandBe great if we finally went up after all these years especially for the you get fans who have never seen us in the top flight. To be honest a lot of the times when we just survived relegation it became repetitive after a while ,knowing we would probably win about 10-12 games a season to try and stay up ( a few more when it was just 2 points for a win).As one of the those fans who’ve never seen us in the top flight, I’d love it for a season but genuinely think the championship is the best league in England
Depends on your definition of "best". Most competitive, for sure, but I don't think the football has the quality of most of the premier leagueAs one of the those fans who’ve never seen us in the top flight, I’d love it for a season but genuinely think the championship is the best league in England
