I’ve seen them before.

I’ve also read that article which suggests Liverpool play with 12 players….

At its core the article and videos show that these teams have a consistent formation ( 4-3-3) which they flex in the match by asking either a full back or a CDM to take up a different position on the pitch depending on the game management they are deploying/

What they don’t do is play 5-3-2 one match, 4-4-2 the next 4-3-3 , the next a lone striker , etc etc etc …. The very thing we have witnessed at Cov this season.

They flex within an established formation we flex the entire formation.
how the fuck does it say they play with 12 players?

the keeper is 1 of the 3 in the the 3-4-4, proves you haven't read it and you know absolutely nothing about football

no one was talking about them changing systems for each game you utter div

so you lie about reading things and you are a div

for people who aren't that well rugby fan Deity

A lot of the cb's in this thread are not that mobile, better in a traditional 3 and pretty pricey.

I think there's a chance and cb is european as there's much better value there expecially in january

Tactics, formations, drivel and obfuscation. There is one standout reason we should play 4 at the back and that’s because our defenders aren’t very good. Adding another just deepens the level of mediocrity.

Yeh basically we don't defend any better with a 5 so what's the point? I agree.
It's often been used as an excuse to squeeze Latibeaudiere in for some reason.

Exactly. We concede two at the moment with 4 or 5. Until we fix that we may as well select the team to try and get 3 at the other end.

As a left back, what do we think of Jordan Bos. Seems to fit the model age wise at 22 and think we could sign him as he seems to be a sub in games in Belgium?

So if we concede with 4 or 5, why not try 3? Or even 2?

Im going to post my formation again. 2323

Dovin
Thomas Binks
MvE Sheaf Dasilva
Torp Rudoni
Saka Simms Wright

It’s the future.
Sadly, I don't think we have the necessary personnel in key areas to carry it off, particularly LWB. I have lost count of how many times JDS gets beaten to the ball down the left flank and a cross comes in resulting in a goal.

Yeah it needs better CBs and LWB. A man can dream.

Would potentially be narrow. And feels it would drop onto a 5 2 3 when under pressure with sheaf in the middle of 3 cbs and torp and rudoni then been midfield. Interesting formation but would not work with the players we currently have

Could make it drop to a 4-3-3 tho, just have the inverted wingbacks drop back to a back four and the cms drop back into holding positions?
