We were poor & scraped a win , which is great in the circumstances .
No real quality on show , in tricky conditions , but first half was again below standards & we’ve got a problem with Simms , as he looks so uninterested it’s appalling , then Bassette comes on & he’s really shown up, by this energetic young player .
The performance lead to a really quiet skyblue army , until we picked up the pace second half , but lots now in Frank’s locker , having seen another game .

Good win in the end - absolutely dire first half where we didn’t look like creating anything.

Happy for EMC but I expect so much more from him. His lack of confidence on the ball is bizarre.

Sheaf showed his best and worst sides, but it was a game where we needed someone to step up and it turned out to be him, so fair play.

Norm is going to be a huge fans’ favourite, never known a player who works as conspicuously hard as he does.

Or you could have a manager like Sean Dyche, who comes out with more shit than David Brent, blames everyone else but himself, all whilst wiping snot onto his head ?

I think I know which one I’d prefer.

What a load of bollocks re Simms. We are not playing to his strengths. Running around a lot generally results in little if they can't finish which the players brought on are crap at which ours are.

Thought we were good today. Defence has clearly been worked on. Did Collins have a shot to save? Going forward, improved 2nd half., but, far from our best. Lampard found a way to win the game. That’s the best Millwall team we’ve played for a few years.

He took his goal well having previously missed an absolute sitter. Miss of the season.
Other than that he contributed very little.
He may yet come good but to date he's shown nothing to suggest he's a good player in this league.

Except scoring in every game since FL took over. 😛

I do agree though that he needs to step up and offer a lot more, but at least he's getting some minutes in his best position. And he didn't hide after fluffing a great chance.

What was very noticeable today was that with Bidwell and EMC on our left side, the opposition didn't rip us apart down that flank every couple of minutes. Hopefully those 2 can get an understanding going until Wright is back.
