His confidence is higher. Makes all the difference as an attacking player. He now knows he can skin Championship players, so he tries to do it more. Pretty confident he's going to be a star player for us soon.

Superb today.

I think we have to remember until Haji was injured, he's not really been played on his more suitable position, it's only now he's had a run of games starting there that were starting to see that confidence and belief come back to him. It's a decent step up from League One as well, so he's had to cope with that.

Even more to come I think, I'm sure he'll be absolutely fine for us.

I'm not going to blow my own trumpet, because I didn't ever say that he would come good

But I DID say we had to give him time to come good and not dismiss him as crap, too early.

It does take some players quite some time to show their true worth.
I'll blow my trumped. I always backed him to come good!

3 goals in 4 games under FL.

One of the best assists I’ve ever seen for our second, skinned 3 and put it on a plate.

Without him our recent form would be absolutely dire.
Really kicked on since Lamps. The players generally seem in a much better place.

Wasn’t impressed early season but he was played on the right to accommodate wright, much better in his rightful position on the left and you can see he’s been a lot better and today was absolutely brilliant that run for the winner their defenders tried to chop him down 3 times but he stayed on his feet to get the cross in , he’s as strong as an ox.

Ironically we were saying that he had gone missing in the 2nd half after a good 1st half, then he pulled it out of the bag-fair play.

Absolutely right, but............when Haji comes back where do they play?

After we signed him I watched Peterborough quite a lot, so I knew he had loads more to give, starting to find his feet on this league, still plenty more to come.

Played well today. His best game for us by a country mile. In the other games he scored he's still been pretty average in his generally play, but today he was unplayable at times.
Possibly because Hull are dire.

The player he destroyed all game on the right played 40 times last season for hull when they finished 7th
Several of our players were miles better last season too and are playing well below those levels It’s no fluke they’re bottom of the table.

That’s what we’ve been waiting to see from him.
Welcome to the ‘70’s
Tommy H used to do that three or four times a game. I’ve been reminiscing on other threads about the excitement of watching wingers back in the day. Let’s see a lot more of it.
