oh and Basette out on loan if at all possible if Wright comes back before the end of January. He needs to learn at a lower level

Feel like Doug king, but aresnal apparently looking to sell Marquinhos with Luton looking.

Yes we don’t need another winger but on the right wing feel he would very good for us considering he wants to cut inside on his left foot.

Not what we need but I think age wise and style would suit us.

One thing I noticed from Lampard's interviews when he first joined he seems quite pally with Thomas Frank. Wonder whether we might see one or two from Brentford come in.

Rodrigues you assume will be pencilled in for loan if he’s been training for a while now and can’t get ahead of Tavares.

Andrews too at that stage if they can find the right move for him

Someone who can cover for MVE and competition for Sheaf have to be the priorities. If there's cash left for a LB after those two, sound. We're fine up top, don't need GKs.

I'm convinced that the same CBs who were solid for half of last season are still in there somewhere, and that the coaches Lampard has brought with him can turn things around.

Finding loans to cover existing players is pretty unrealistic to be honest as ultimately their parent clubs are going to want them to feature regularly.

So trying to be realistic.

Liam Lindsay - £500,000 to £1,000,000 Feel Preston might sell him cheaper than avoid no fee whatsoever. Would look at a two and a half year deal with maybe an extension possibility. This would just be a reinvestment of the palmer fee and wages hopefully.

Josh Acheampong - Loan - Chelsea young right back. Hopefully would accept being a back up but in trusted hands to help get him used to senior football and play a couple of minutes to help fitness for Milan. One I think Chelsea wouldn’t expect to play every game and while raw could help the cause.

Luke Cundle (Wolves) or Tyler Morgan (Liverpool) - loan. Both good number 8s who are decent ball progressors. Would be either or but feel we could offer either a place in the team. Both young lads who have played in the championship before and should be able to hit the ground running.

Out the door would be

Fabio - Transfer/ loan Needs to go for his stake to develop with regular first team football. Would be happy to sell or at least loan.

Raphael (Loan) - needs to go out and play some football just to access where he is.

I might be out of date, and apologies if it is, but they are not big on u18s/u21s. Did they not have a B team?

I'm astonished how many people are putting forward multiple ideas for signings, and not listing LB as top priority!

Bring in an outstanding guy for that position and half the team's problems would melt away IMO.

(And no I can't suggest who it should be, that's the recruitment team's job).

Think the only issue with LB in January is you would struggle to find the quality you’d want and have issues shifting one of our two.

Might be better solved in July when Bidwell has left or we can shift Jay easier. Any ideas for a realistic target. I did say Ryan Giles but after his performance against us I’m not as sure.

How about Ben Chilwell. Fits the bill, plays for Chelsea, and unaffordable.

Not really fussed about young loan signings - we’re not going up or going down, would rather let our own young players get the match experience than someone else’s.

If we want to sign some experienced players on loan to teach our squad some new tricks then I’m all for it.
