I suspect we’ll get a couple of loans in and leave transfers until the summer under a new recruitment team. I

Time for some Left Back suggestions

- Souffian El Karouani (22) Utrecht

Really really good attacking and progressive stats and not bad aerially and good tackler, weak pass accuracy however that’ll be down to how progressive he is, more of a summer dealing however contract expiring 26 so next summer might be able to get for cheap ish

- Kai Wagner (27) Philadelphia

We’ve already heard of him but he’d be too good to turn down, a real quality LB who’s tore up the MLS for a couple years now, should be more than good enough to make the leap into the championship

- Tuur Rommens (21) Westerlo

A real standout in the Belgian league, young, amazing all rounded stats and just a good good player however would more likely be a marquee summer signing for us

- Nathaniel Brown (21) Frankfurt

A real quality breakout year for him so far, probably a tad realistic as he’s playing top flight in Germany, however his market value is low. But we’d need to capitalise quickly to have any chance of getting him to sign, which to be honest is probably a tad optimistic on my end but I though MvE was far too optimistic at first when linked there so who knows

- Zaidu Sanusi (27) Porto

A more experienced LB who’s fallen out of favour heavily at Porto, Nigerian international who’s absolutely rapid. Not sure why he’s fallen down Porto’s pecking order after a little search online

- Daam Foulon (25) Mechelen

Very impressive stats in progression, and got 6 goal involvements so far this season, however only downside being getting close to his prime years can you train his defensive side to be better

- Eric Kahl (23) Aarhus GF

Great defensive stats and a good age to improve, coming from the same league as Torp so would most likely need time before we see his best because he would need a full pre-season

From my own shit scouting I would sign (not just jan but also summer so basically irrespective of which window)
CB - Jimmy Dunne (1.5m out of contract end of season)
RB - Shuto Nakano (1m)
LB - Tuur Rommens (3.75m but most being add ons)
CM - Majeed Ashimeru (1.5m)

Good info thanks for the work. 👍

We tend to buy league one players in the hope that they improve and increase in value whilst their wages are cheap. The same with teams who are relegated, by buying their 'better' players who were only good enough to help relegation. I guess you have to get lucky one day.

Oliver Sonne, who we bid for in the summer? Quick before Burnley snatch him away
If we want him still, lets hope Frank and Doug can persuade him to come rather than to Burnley who are in the hunt for automatic promotion. They better have their best persuasive charm offensive perfected!

I think when Sheaf goes in the Summer we should look into Michal Sadílek to be his replacement, as he’s a solid 6/8 who’s very good with progressive play, comfortable on the ball, he’s only 5ft7 so wouldnt provide the height Sheaf adds but I’d hope he can provide more of what Hamer did (on the defensive side). Calm and composed and can pick out a good pass and he’s a leader, out of contract in the summer so maybe we can turn his head and sign him on a free or potentially make a deal with Twente where we sign him in Jan to join in the Summer.

For a player a whose scored 1 goal. There again they apparently wanted a fortune for Ferguson who isn't exactly prolific .
Premier League clubs can afford to fork out vast sums for potential tbf. Newcastle gave the Blunts around £15 million for William Osula who's done fuck all.

Does anyone think FL could make a cheeky loan bid for Mason Mount? Gives him half a season to try to revive his flagging career. I know money etc but sometimes name, personal relationship can swing it. Stranger things have happened, like Joe Cole coming here

His career isn't flagging, he's had a terrible run of injuries .
He started Sunday before getting injured again so there is zero probability of it happening
