Boxing Day has the potential to go very sour if they turn in anything resembling that shitfest v Plymouth. Several signings need in January, for whatever reason too many recent signings don't look good enough. That 2nd half performance was awful, letting the dodgy 1st in seemed to just completely destroy them.

Yep.

Anything other than a win and it will be toxic.

If someone comes in with a decent bid for Sheaf in Jan let him go and sign 2 midfielders in place of him, Michal Sadilek and Majeed Ashimeru my picks, both hard workers, Sadilek a good progressive passer and class defensive player. Ashimeru a very good dribbler with an eye for a pass, but also a decent tackler

What do you even say to them.
You are contracted to this football club and I expect you to put your all into playing for them.

I have you for 6 days a week and training isn't going to be pleasant for you until each and every one of you is at a level I expect.

Put them through a mini pre-season if it's what it takes, their attitudes need to change

Respect your point but there’s no fight or pride in them. Tell them that and it’ll go in one ear and out the other. Absolutely shambolic

Collins, Dasilva, Binks, Bobby Thomas, Kitching.

How can we force these lot out of our club, being serious here. Fucking petition? Banners with there names on out of our club? Protest? Booing?

Seriously these lot won't go anywhere, they won't get the wages ever again.

They are killing our club, seriously we need to make their life's an absolute misery. We gotta do something, we will be in League 1 otherwise.

Yeah losing 8 of the last 15 and drawing 3 isn’t great form is it
We were poor for the last 6 games , the 9 gamesleading upto the final 6 we were competing at the top end still getting 1.77 points per game which Is the equivalent of 81 points won 5 drew 1 lost 3

We fell apart after Leeds and we know why ? We were bringing dausch on in games and tavares and having to rest our best players after man utd ..

Not doing this again ffs

I am now calling it: We are in a relegation battle.

All the post-FA Cup Semi-Final optimism, all the talk of challenging for the playoffs or automatic promotion, all of it has gone up in flames.

Brad Collins should never play for this club again. He's never been good enough for the Championship but after the last several games I don't think he's good enough to be playing in exchange for money.

We have got to be the easiest team to play against in the Championship. It's the exact same every time: Collins will let in every shot on target, just hit the ball towards wherever JDS happens to be because he won't be able to win it or defend against the consequences, press our back four and they'll shit themselves.

There is a deep, fundemental issue in the core of this team. The mentality is utterly appalling; completely folding after the equaliser and showing no kind of passion or fight once they were 1-2 down. The whole afternoon is summed up by Ben Sheaf - you know, our captain; our leader; the one we turn to in tough times and trust to bring us back from the brink; fucking shrugging his shoulders when Eccles was relaying instructions after coming on. He simply didn't care.

This team frankly does not deserve its fanbase. A typically sold-out away end going to the time, effort, expense and inconvenience to get to Portsmouth for a 12:30 kickoff and this is what they get in return. I feel so sorry for everyone now having to endure a doubtlessly miserable journey home.

Massive changes in both personnel and attitude in January are essential.

That's the most spineless performance I can remember from a Coventry City team.

Can take getting beat, even by poor sides, but losing like that is unacceptable.

One team wanted to win, the other, when it came down to it, didn't give a fuck.

We've been making individual mistakes all season, often ones that drop us points so it's no surprise that it's happened again today. But the absolute lack of effort as soon as we went behind, wow. We just downed tools and give up. With a new manager and a transfer window about to open I would expect players to currently be playin at or near the top of their games, but so many just do not look at all bothered.

That's why you don't let them do gym work or work on tactics, have them out in the cold and rain doing shite work until they come round to the idea that they need to do more.

Watching those goals back, I take it back for the last goal. Yes great reaction save for the first chance but why did Collins not just smother that ball as it was dropping?!
Yes he was missing a defence in front of him but still has to be doing better there

yeah and Binks just stands and watches while the player reacts quick for a tap in. Schoolboy stuff.

Get Kitching and Bidwell back in for starters
