Can anyone genuinely see many players leaving in the January window?

Rod?
McDonald
Malaga?
Hussey?

As you've already stated. Only others could be a few of the youngsters going on loan.

Wouldnt be surprised to see Jeffers leave, just not sure there will be demand there for someone to buy him.

Maybe Thomas could do with a loan spell (if we get Bailey that is)

I hope Hussey, Malaga, ROD go, if Cody gets a good fee, why not? Hopefully young guns can replace them.

Cody should be kept as 3rd choice if McG goes (Clarke, Elliott, Cody)

Maybe another rm for cover for baker as I doubt bell can keep fit

I agree, but realistically, it isn't going to happen as some players can play there and if we keep the 'big 4' and sign Clarke, we won't be able to afford anyone really.

We already have a strong squad for this division. It is about keeping who we have and not losing the players we need. If we lose someone then replace them.

It's about keeping the squad 'togetherness'.

There is a willingness to fight for each other, no more evident than in the closing stages yesterday!

I don't like it when we, as fans, make comments like ' rod can go'...........he played a part yesterday, he had to be 'ready and waiting' and you only get that from the fringe players if they feel valued.

Like Robins said, it's a squad game. He is pleased with the attitude of those that can step in, have waited for their chance....like Elliot

But......... If you are able to improve the squad then you would allow rod or others to leave wouldn't you?

Not against improving the squad, Peter- just the way we go about it, how we make people feel. At this point in time, they are our players, and if they go over the line , they have to perform for us. I think players accept that, they are not always first choice, and they will know themselves if they are good enough or not; but, if you feel valued, rather than berated, you will do your best.

I guess it's kind of similar (but the boot being on the other foot) to the way a better player moves on, and if he respects the club that he leaves.... Like DMG possibly.....compared to , say Bellamy who bad mouthed us. When Keane scored for spurs against us, he wanted no part in celebrations, so we respect that.

We have a few players that are 'surplus to requirements' meaning we don't need them, so why keep their wages?

I think its obvious McDonald Hussey and Malaga are the players he wants to move on. As to whether we get any takers is a different issue though.

Cody on a loan I reckon, Hussey gone permanently (I hope) and Malaga... I don't have a clue!

Hopefully ROD gets sold, by far our worse player, hopefully to a desperate Hartlepool or sumin'

Problem with getting rid of Hussey is we are then left with only one specialist left back. And he's on loan.

Malaga, Hussey, ROD, McDonald, Jeffers. I like McDonald, but it's fairly obvious he's not getting his chance so let's get rid for both our sakes. The rest are just useless.

O'Donovans contract expires at the end of the season, i've got no problem with him staying here until then.

The rest especially Cody can get rid.
