I think we’ll win comfortably but don’t expect it to be the start of a good run of form.
One step at a time. Our home form has been completely laughable so would be nice to get another win here then try and back it up with something against Millwall too. Will look a bit healthier then.

The definition of madness ….. repeat the same & expect a different outcome. Collins needs a time out of the team for his own mental health. He looked shocked and depressed at Portsmouth.

Dropping Collins is absolutely essential. We all knew yesterday was coming. He isn't good enough .
Anyone sensible would be dropping JDS for Bidwell as well.
I was not keen on Lampard if he plays Collins I will be hugely pissed off.

If FL keeps Collins in he must want to get the boot

Except Bidwell and MVE all of um Joel, Kitch, Dasilva, Thomas Binks and chuck Collins in, all need moving on.

We need to spend a sumer transfer budget on a brand new left back and 2 top centre backs, and loan 1 more in.

If we have to keep any of the crap we currently have, keep Joel simply because he can play more than 1 role.

My prediction of Wayne Rooney’s team talk: If Lambard has picked JDS at left back & Collins in goal. Just sit deep and wait for a miss pass, then counter with a high long ball towards JDS and if you get a return pass inside …. Shoot from anywhere as Collins won’t stop it!

You're probably a better manager than Wayne though.

Just listened to Lampard's press interview. Again what a mess. A word salad from a guy who has nothing to say. The interviewer was leading him along and he fell into it each time. He never once made reference to what they are doing to rectify the last performance, as if he were just filling in the blanks. He may be a nice bloke and a legend to many of us but he does not sound like someone who knows what to do. He just doesn't seem to be in command of anything. You don't just nod and agree with the interviewer on every point? I take no pleasure in having a go at him, but I'm not getting filled with optimism atm.

Press conferences are largely fluff and have 0 meaning for the team.

Playing along, giving them soundbites and not saying anything stupid is the best thing to do for everyone.
