Transfer Rumour January transfer window (24 Viewers)

If anyone thinks Lampard isn’t panicking about what he’s seen they can think again - he isn’t daft. Hardly going to say anything to the press is he? He will have players lined up it’s just a case of…have we got the money?

2 loans and 1 permanent would do it for me (would like 2 if possible).

Left back, right back, centre back and centre mid. Two of which need to be players with experience and have leadership qualities. Comes at a cost though.

Also for that to happen, we’ve got to move players on. Tavares and Allen I’m sure will find a club in Jan and be allowed to leave. Rapha will head out on loan as it’s obvious he’s nowhere near ready and maybe someone comes in for BTA. Really no point in having 3 keepers either, one of them has to go and let’s be honest…it won’t be Collins. If Dovin doesn’t play tomorrow then he may as well head out on loan as well…same as Kitching.

Will be a very interesting window.
I doubt Frank is panicking.

I do suspect he thinks the defence and keeper options are worse than he first thought.

I’d love to see an experienced centre half, new dynamic left back, cover at right back and cover for Tats ( assuming Raphael isn’t ready yet ) if he is then another driving CM.

Experience and leaders.
Just feel like you have to get the balance between youngsters and old heads, espeically in this league where no one is special but we have a raft of well drilled teams and some that play the dark arts

There's no incomings without outgoings, but who's going to take our dross?

Ideally we need to offload Collins, Dasilva, Binks, Allen, and Tavares (maybe more)
But I doubt there will be much interest, and Doug is not going to want the wage bill increasing.

Frank won’t have come in without some assurances about transfers

Maybe Rooney should sign Fabio, his injury problems meant he played a 16 year old up front against us. 😁

Ideal window right now

OUT
Tavares - Permanent, see if we can get a nominal fee
Allen - Permanent, bottom of the pecking order, would be a good pickup for a L1 side, could generate a small fee
Kitching - loan, IF Lampard isn't gonna use him then try and loan him out somewhere to get minutes
Dasilva - perm or loan if we can bring in a new LB to save us some money

IN
LB - Permanent, better on the ball than Bidwell and better defensively than Dasilva
CB - Perm or loan, left footer who can actually defend
RW - loan, backup for Saka since Raphael can't get a game
CM - loan, take a punt on a prem wonderkid

With Rapha taking a squad place from Tavares, the writing really is on the wall for him.

Suspect a loan. Unless a free transfer can be sorted.

Have you not read what Lampard has said about Raphael, looks like he’s in his thoughts and will get some minutes. He nearly picked him for yesterday’s game.

I’d suspect Tavares or Kitching first out.
Followed closely behind by a goalkeeper.

A team in league 1.
He’s a professional centre half. There will be teams who will want him.

Hes hardly a washed up 45 year old defender is he

No one can afford him though - unless it’s a loan. Don’t think we would get anything near the price we paid which means King especially would be reluctant to let him go. I think he will get a run of games at some point.
