They've got the 6th best away record in the league , you can see why they sit in and are difficult to break down .
Horrible boring game and the speed at which we played did make it easier for them than it should have been
You realise our speed of play was a direct consequence of their tactics?

The lack of critical thinking on here sometimes is incredible.

Want the club to take the next step. But while the likes of:

Collins
Latibeaudiere
MvE
Dasilva
Bidwell
Torp
Sakamoto
Bassette

are around this team, it’s not gonna happen. This nauseating love in for Norman Bassette is so unjustified I can’t even laugh about it anymore.

It was weeks.

They nullified us first half. Second half we picked it up and should have scored.

Sakamoto was far too negative for the first 80 minutes.

Far from an entertaining game but I've seen multiple worse games there this season.

In no way should we have scored. They came closer. Saka is completely nullified in this system. Made to come inside and just makes him completely ineffective.

Think once sakamoto realised he could beat his man and we started passing it quicker they wanted the game to end.

Crap.

Take Bassette out of starting 11.

Clean sheet only positive.

Need creative spark in Jan and when Simms was on we then stopped crossing it!?

No they didn't? They shot straight at dovin.

Rudoni had the whole goal to put it in but tried to blast it. A side foot and it's a goal.

Which chance did they have that was closer?

They had more shots, more on target, more big chances, higher xG. We had one moment from a decent bit of play & individual skill. That's it.
I don’t remember them having any big chances - they had a shot straight at Dovin and I’m not sure created anything at all in the 2nd half. I remember Rudoni hitting the post and the bar.
There were also a couple of times when better balls from Eccles would have had us in.

It’s frustrating but Millwall came to frustrate.

Simms really showed why he should be in the team today when the ball ballooned off his shin for the 6th time

A couple of shots straight at dovin?

There was no chance bigger than Rudoni missing that.

Because it's fucking embarrassing people saying that's worse then some of the other shit we have seen at the CBS this season. Funnily enough it's all people who still cry that robins has gone.

"But we had more shots on target and lost so it's much better than the draw we had today" 🤣🤣🤣

he’s embarrassing himself every match thread

Bassette offers nothing really currently

good potential don’t get me wrong but simms has to start

A performance that was just missing a player that’ll pick up the ball, run with it and ask them questions.

I’d have liked to see Raphael get 5-10 minutes
Agreed. Having someone in the middle that can run and beat players would make a big difference in these sort of games.

Cant believe we didn’t see him get a run at the end. Was crying out for someone who would run at them.

Also for all those quoting xg I’m pretty sure it’ll be recalculated, they have the Rudoni chance down as 0.09 which doesn’t seem right.

Asante just isn't good enough.

We lack a number 10, similar to how O'Hare
could link the midfield play to the forwards.

Our centre backs aren't good enough, any top 10 sides open us up with ease.

Thank fuck for Dovin, saved our arses when Bohby Thomas decided to be classic Bobby Thomas.

Millwall had 2 standout players for me, Leonard and Tanganga, would have them in our team all day.

Positives, we took a point, dominated possession by playing safe passes at the back, and we controlled the tempo which kept Millwall pretty much uninterested all game.

We need to play Simms, output is far less than Bassette, but you play to Simms strength and he is a better player. Crosses into the box and when it's not worked 60 minutes you bring Bassette on and his raw ability, aggression and drive will lift the squad.
