I don't know what you want me to say. These things happen. Sometimes you persist with plan a and you end up scoring late on and sometimes you don't. It's not always a case of change the formation midgame.

Every team has these games. Even your Madrid's and Liverpool's
Both wing backs started to play further and further forward
You would have thought a change to going long and play Asante off simms potentially
To be fair milwall centre halfs were excellent in the air
To say we didn’t adapt is wrong though

We should have taken Bassette off at HT, he’s useless against a low block, doesn’t have the technical ability or the ability to be a battering ram. Rudoni on the left just didn’t work. The midfield was non existent. He keeps making the same subs regardless of game state. Simms for twenty mins BTA for ten on the left. You aren’t going to break a team down playing like that with patient passing in a U, the only times we looked dangerous were when players departed from the game plan and went long.

But he was brilliant for us.
And that's what matters. Unless we've got sell on clauses what a player does after he leaves isn't really relevant.

I like Rudoni but anyone who thinks hes at the same level as O'Hare is deluding themselves.
Disagree he was brilliant for us. Had some decent games. Had a load of time out (not his fault of course), but in my opinion he’s not a big miss.

What I find strange is that our number 2 is the ex-Millwall Manager from last year. I would assume he knows all their players weaknesses, but we seemed to play the same as ever, with almost no adjustment for the opposition. As ever, Millwall left Thomas as the player to make the passes forward from the back, as he has been really poor at that this season.
I wonder if we will be a team that plays the same game in game out and let the opposition try to counter us.
