Gyokeres, Hamer and COH wanted to leave. Not much King could do.

If MVE and Sheaf want out, the club will have to sell.
Hamer and o hare would have stayed but we wouldn’t pay them any more, that’s well known, for the money we’ve wasted we could of kept both of them

But we’ve never replaced hamer, that’s been our problem, midfields been shocking since he left, we’re light as it is, we can’t afford to get rid of sheaf or MVE, 2 of our best players struggling for form in a poor side, we need to be careful else we’ll be writing next season off as well
Who's that young fella at Oxford, would he be interested in a move?
Could have been Stamenic and 6 months bedding in time!

There's definitely a large amount of 'never fancied her anyway' about Sheaf and MVE.

It would be a big blow to lose either of them in January, never mind both of them.
Absolutely agree. Massive loss, even if neither of them have played to the fullest of their ability this season.

Having said that, maybe that’s why they aren’t performing because they want out.

These replacements turn us down because we won’t pay the wages they want, that’s why we’ve been gambling on players from Barnsley, Huddersfield and pboro, TBH I don’t believe the sheaf rumour, they don’t need him

around £8M apparently…

Fuckin disaster if we sell sheaf now, the team plays through Sheaf, the crap people write about him, they see one bad pass and thats it , he s our most important player , thank god the commentaters, coaches, managers see it , but some Skybuetalk managers , coaches know better, bollocks twats . pusb

King got interviewed on sky the first game after he took over and, said we will not be selling our best players , since then, gykores, hamer, ohare and now possibly MVE and sheaf, pretty sure that our previous owners did the same and got rightly slaughtered for it, id be worried what his actual plans are if we let MVE and sheaf go, selling our good players and buying poor replacements ?

Ño I wondered before last summer if Sheaf would be marketed and he was, unfortunately now he's got the correct valuation or even lower.
He's a busted flush here and his heart has not been with us this season.
I was always for him before this point.

If you’re thinking long term and are confident we wont go down, and want to spend big in the summer, actually makes sense to sell assets now and spend the cash in the summer. Not sure the fans would let you get there though!

He's captain and he offers no inspiration to his team mates, just walks about with a face like a slapped arse.

If we can get 8 million and get it reinvested then it's a no brainer for me.

I doubt we'll see Sheaf at anything like his best for the remainder of his time here.

I think we should seriously consider cashing in now.
He's been disapointing this season, and I'm sure we could pick up a couple of Barnsley's fringe players for the money 😂

Hamer wanted a shot at the premier league and o hare was never staying

I'd do it. I don't think finding a Sheaf stopgap would be particularly hard on current form, be that a cheap signing or loan, then let the manager have the bulk of the funds in the summer.

This is hilarious. Sheaf's not going anywhere in January unless the fee is way over market rate. They wouldn't even have sold him for 8 mil in the last summer window, let alone in January. Funny how people know we're unlikely to purchase players in January because we'd have to pay over inflated prices, but think we will sell to other teams at below market rate.
