It is what you make it. Some people don’t even appreciate how good the buses are running in and out of town. We enjoy our visits to CV1 on match days , some great old pubs and a couple of new real ale establishments, the old cathedrals lit up and some fabulous 15th century buildings scattered in amongst the newer stuff. Plenty of places to eat, albeit many chains but you won’t starve.
Ironically we have said recently that it does miss a quality sit down fish and chip restaurant …..a la fishy Moores, unless we have missed something.
For City fans young and old , I hope you have all made at least one visit to the Sky Blue Tavern, it’s excellent and the food is good.
Oh and for people on a budget, you can visit The Herbert Art Gallery, the new cathedral and the transport museum for nothing !
