I made the argument that a business operating in a country should have to put sales through a company registered and paying tax in that country.
Your argument was that international tax rate competition meant that in order to make sure we got a bit of the pie we should keep tax rates to a minimum to keep/encouorage business to register here.
Genuinely odd that someone like this guy, who apparently has little to no interest in Coventry City whatsoever, can come on here all day and post nonsensical stuff like this and no-one bats an eyelid. In all honesty, is this a mental health thing?

That’s a bit clickbaity. He was asked if he ruled out “military or economic action” and said no. He’s apparently on about tariffs on Denmark if they don’t agree to a Greenland “independence” referendum.

I’m a Trump fan and a Musk fan and think that some of the things they’ve both said lately must frighten the sandals off the lefties.
Musk has gone a bit far in some of his comments and attacking people like Jess Phillips will play into the hands of those who oppose him.
Taking over Greenland which will eventually mean Canada is surrounded by Alaska on the West, USA to the South and Greenland East.
Denmark has spoken out against USA buying Greenland.
However, Canada still has our Monarch, our monarch on their currency, the ROYAL Canadian Air Force etc.
Will we speak out? Will anyone take any notice of our Foreign Secretary David Lammy or just think he is a buffoon?
We know the answer.
Sad’ Khan, Starmer, Lammy, and all the others that spent years ridiculing and criticising Trump might well start realising that actions have consequences. Sending Labour activists to the USA to help Harris is, slam dunk, political interference.
It gives Trump an excuse to do the same.
I’ve stated that Trump is unlikely to impose tariffs on the UK. I might have seen that from the wrong angle. I might be wrong.
Will Trump try to get Starmer to stand down by economic sanctions? By essentially making the economic viability of the UK untenable unless a new GE is called (which I think Reform could win) it does seem a possibility. Remote, but not totally tinfoil given the current noise coming from the USA.
Now I don’t like any country bullying another country but Labour and their pompous attitude towards Trump might be getting what they deserve.

Banging on about sneering lefties whilst rolling out all the usual tropes about sandals etc., shows a staggering lack of self awareness, and the classic thin-skinned outrage of those who then have the chutzpah to then call others snowflakes.
As for the facts, volunteers from foreign countries are free to campaign on behalf of anyone that they like in the US. Same here. Labour hasn't paid for them to go. It's within the law and above board, except for a grey area regarding free accommodation.
If you've really got an issue with democracy being threatened, then presumably you're outraged by Trump supporters trying to illegally and violently overturn a legitimate election four years ago. Or Musk involving himself in UK politics right now.
But you're not, you're a self stated Trump and Musk fan, despite those overtly anti-democratic actions. So basically you're not really in favour of democracy at all, unless your side wins. It's rank hypocrisy.
