Simms for example is not 8m he was 3.5 with add ons that could have taken it to 8

The wage issue being an important point because it’s why we’ll lose out on the top end free agents and rely on ‘up and coming’ players on lower wages, but higher transfer fees.

Of that list of 24, 4 players at least are complete non-factors; Tavares, Rapha, Tyler, 3rd choice GK (Collins/Wilson).

So we have an effective squad size of 20 so it should be no surprise we’re struggling with injuries and so on. The squad depth is lacking.

If we had a first team squad of 25, with 22 outfield players, then I’d be ok with having 3 GKs. It’s too top heavy too; well stocked upfront, CB and GK. completely lacking depth RB, CM and RW/LW.

I'm under the impression it's 1 in 1 out across the whole squad. So for example if Tavares goes, we can then put that towards a CB or CM whatever

In regards to the cash, please bear with on this because he himself isn't fully clear on what's been said.

It's that Doug was getting in / hasn't managed to get over the line investors. Hence the belief that Frank would have cash to spend. Again, he's not fully certain and is trying to clear it up at the game tomorrow, that said investors haven't yet / won't materialise, hence the change of tack in recent weeks that's gone from myself and others on here hearing there's cash to spend, to now being on a 1 in 1 out basis.

Again that second part I'm hoping is clearer tomorrow, so no one hold onto that as if it's gospel

He's in the squad but doesn't count towards the number of players we can have over 21. We could play any player registered to the club that is under 21 like Batwani for example.
