There are a few who are obviously desperate for Lampard to fail.
There are some who are now defending the insipid football they were once using to justify MR getting the boot. Lampard needs at least 2 transfer windows before being judged but what we're seeing under him so far is pretty similar to what we had previously.

It’s really odd that you cannot support lampard, still rate robins, and call out when football is poor but be pleased with the result

We are getting results. That's what people are pointing out. It isn't Barcelona but 3 points is 3 points.

It's like when people were moaning a draw against Millwall at home was worse than losing to Derby at home.

I'd take performances like today every week if we get the 3 points.

Good win.

Not the prettiest but hard fought at times. Defence I thought were good today, Kitching continues to do well.

Strikers both did well, Simms doing some great hold up work. Happy for BTA to get a goal.

Midfield was alright, lost the ball a bit too much and didn’t seem to put in a tackle. Need to see more bite but overall did enough.

Need to keep backing it up and improving but good result against a good team. Onto the next one

Reading the Bristol City forum and they're saying "two poor teams", it's just the most hackneyed comment. That was just your bog standard Championship match. It's never that good and the idea that the general standard is flowing one and two touch football is bollocks.
Which is why it struck me as strange when Robins tried to turn us into this possession based team. Without the parachute payments to spend, it's grind out results and hope one of your players produces a bit of magic/opposition make a mistake.

I look forward to the day a good or poor performance won’t kickoff a SBT Robins vs Lampard wankathon

The run of games he had upon taking charge was the most generous run we'll get all season and the return wasn't great. We continue to look ponderous and slow going forward while giving chances away at the back.

Today Bristol didn't take those early chances which allowed us a foothold in the game.

I saw that one too! 🤣
I think the Norwich result prompted an extreme reaction because of how it happened, including myself, i make no apologies as that's just standard fan stuff really.
Overall for me though, I think it's been a reasonable start from Lampard, not stunning, but solid enough. I can't remember how far above the drop zone we were but I'm thinking we're a good few points more now. We're looking harder to beat at home, and he's done it all without our best player and other injury woes.
Tough games coming, could still do with some returning from injury and a couple of Jan additions, but its ok.

Not actually that many points above it but a lot of teams now in the way.

Yup emotion is fine but some can't control themselves and go OTT

5 wins 3 draws 3 losses. 45 percent win record.

SECONDS away or open goal away from 2 more wins and more clean sheets too should be remembered

Home form has been sorted

Like I predicted we are close to top half.

He's doing a good job so far. That simple.

You certainly can’t control yourself after your antics in off topic on tuesday

Lampard has shown he can use 443 and 352 so we can change it game by game of required

Not bad for a manager with zero tactical knowledge as one poster put it at half time

To be fair his hand was forced on 3 5 2.
Though never look a gift horse in the mouth.

He got a bit of a decision to make when everyone's fit, though if we're on the back of a good run, (and it looks like we've got one building) it's a nice problem to have.
