First time Eccles has not improved year on year. Either the natural drop in form that all youngish players experience, something gone wrong in his personal life or he is not happy with the new set up.
Hopefully the first and he will bounce back soon.

To repeat Otis, he's just out of form in a team that's generally been poor this season. That doesn't make him a poor player or means his development has necessarily stalled.

He was very good in the early part of the season, and he'll be good again, no doubt.

Before Robins went the general consensus was Eccles had really kicked on this season. Since then/his new contract/whatever it is he’s stalled a bit but to say he hasn’t improved this year is rubbish.

Exactly this. Many, were saying he was our best player for a while.

Frank needs to lock him in a room and make him watch clips of Allen making nice, simple passes for a few hours.

Yes for the first 15 or so games he was Wright's only competition for best player so far.

I’d like to see Eccles used as a versatility player at RB, RWB and DM. If we could bring in another midfielder of course
