Well if he was on their radar and had been properly investigated, I'm not sure the Welsh choirboy image was the right one to share. In fact it's that kind of nonsense where they try to portray something everyone knows is wrong, that adds fuel to the hatred. Hopefully lessons will be learned there too and misinformation that sparked the riots, should also be aligned with purposeful misinformation from authorities.

I am saying if it was handled a bit better at the time rather than the "He was a Christian choirboy and anybody who says otherwise is a right wing racist" approach then I'm not sure the riots would have gained anywhere near as much traction as they did.

Suppose we could pretend that the tories and tax reducing reform will increase the police and security numbers and spending and it will be better

Again a Prevent referral does not out someone on the governments radar. They are assessed and then go to Channel panel and even then might just have a local intervention.
