I don't think it's off, if the lad had no intention of coming to us he wouldn't of come down, think he would like to play under someone like FL which his statue in the game and play for a big club like us, think it's just the latter mate

We have no idea that is the case at all. If it is an option or obligation to buy it will be far more complex agreeing terms on a longer contract anyway

Given where we are ( league position etc,) )then if there's any doubt, I'd sooner hang on until the summer, when the market isn't quite as inflated. These last 2 victories have taken the pressure off any potential desperation signings imo. Fine if the right player is available, otherwise - leave alone.

Funnily enough I think the opposite. Didn’t care about signings before, now we’re looking up the table I think a couple of signings to see if we can extend our run and push for playoffs would be a good idea.
