Atmosphere (5 Viewers)

Said this before but the Bristol city game where we were down to 10 men and Godden scored to win it 3-2 in injury time - the atmosphere at that game at the end in particular was incredible.
that was my lads first live match as well and was hooked since.

The greatest backing I've ever seen from our fans ever. Every time we went behind, the fans got louder.

Every touch and tackle were applauded. A lot different to this season when there are moans and groans with every little mistake.

It's hard to imagine a better atmosphere than the home game against Birmingham in 2023. Just wall-to-wall noise, proper party atmosphere, the walls of the arena nearly blew off when Eccles scored. Felt like we could take on the entire world that day.

The Birmingham fans stood gawping at our fans for nearly 90 minutes. You could tell they were blown away by it.

It's rare you turn up at an away game and accept you are going to be fully outsung for 90 minutes but that was the case for them that day.

Much improved today. Starting off attacking and it being a bit of a feisty game definitely helped.

And what on earth was that Watford song they were singing all game? Was driving me mad

I think things started to turn during the penalty shootout against Wednesday.
Seems to have steadily improved since then.
Thought today was really good.

Actually felt kind of bad that all their songs were about Cleverley, they really don't want him to go 😢

Honestly two lads behind me spent the entire game talking about their guitar set ups. No wonder the atmosphere is bad atm. (It was better today yes but far cry from previous two seasons still)
You think that’s bad.

Three behind me spent the match humming and Ahhhhing about whether they really wanted to be in block 15.

I am in Block 19 and rarely hear singer's corner. Sometimes I wonder what all the fuss is about - however there was more yesterday inc several good renditions of the Sky Blue Song.

I think its the acoustics in the ground.
im in 13 and thought the atmosphere was really good.
But I couldn't hear much from the away support though apparently they were decent.

Away supporters were noisy pretty much all game….. but just the same fecking song!!!! It was almost as irritating as that daft song Norwich sing repeatedly… on the ball city !!!!

Atmosphere is good. Still can't think of a ground apart from Elland Road where it is as consistently noisy. Boro can be ok, Derby too (and I'm always pretty impressed with Swansea at home), but I don't know why we're always so hard on ourselves. Most grounds in this league you can hear a pin drop most of the time. Plenty of vocal backing around me in block 11. It's one thing we don't have to worry about.

It has definitely started to pick up. A few little clues like the singing after Watford scored, whereas for most of that season it would be groans and nervy silence. Also a lot of singing of the Torp song on the way out.

Looking at the next five or six fixtures, and a couple of tough games sandwiched in some very winnable games up to a big Sunderland clash. Keep up this momentum and the CBS will be rocking again.
