If we do get Grimes I can't see us being out of the top 6. Already looking good for it. One off games evens everything out.

Beat Swansea and we could easily be 3 points out of the top 6. Getting into the playoffs is a real 3/1 without the bookies profit. But please remember if losing a bet would upset you for more than 5 seconds just don't bother.

Oh here we go 🤣 we're not that good! This team have been improving but let's not forget some of the unprofessional and mentally weak performances they have shown us this season and tail end of last. Early days in changing that
I believe in Frank and it was fantastic to see the SBA behind the team, but let's stay calm because if we get carried away then lose 1 or 2 everyone will be throwing their toys out the pram again !

What odds are:
1. Get Grimes
2. Make top 6
3. Beat Swansea
4. 3 points from playoffs after Saturdays game.
It’s not just good luck that the bookies make money.

1. Sounds nailed on.

2. Add Grimes to our squad. Last 3 games we beat top half sides. Winning against Norwich at 90 minutes. If we had held on to the lead we would now be 3 points off the top 6 and in with a chance of going into the top 6 this weekend. Won the cup game. Playing good football. Top 4 sides uncatchable but the rest? 5th place only 6 points above us after our poor start to the season. Add to this Wright and EMC are due back soon.

3. So far this year Swansea 1 draw 5 defeats. Good chance their captain won't be playing.

4. If Blackburn don't beat Preston and we beat Swansea we will be 3 points off the top 6 after Saturdays games. If Blackburn win and we win we will be 4 points out of the top 6. If Sunderland beat Middlesbrough on Monday we stay the same.

I take it you haven't noticed how poor every side out of the top 4 have been so far.

Football being football, by next wednesday - if we can have 4+ points from the next 2 games - the band wagon will be really going
anything less than 3 it will be season over and we will all be miserable again

Why not when it’s for charity?
Because you could put £2 on at the bookies and donate the £50 to charity. To offer even on a 25/1 shot meaning you're unlikely to pay out on an even money coin toss 25 in 26 times (well actually less as bookies odds are usually skewed) isnt the most generous offer.

But if the bet doesn’t come in the charity gets nothing. This is a way of guaranteeing a charity gets £50. I’m not sure you understand the premise of a charity bet. They don’t only happen when the odds are even.

But it would never be your £50 - in the above example it would be your £2 or somebody elses £50

Try the 7/4 on offer to beat Swansea, very generous.
Certainly is. They're not used to playing without Grimes. 1 draw 5 defeats so far this year. We've won the last 3 against top half sides and are playing well. Nice to have a bit of inside information on their weaknesses.

Normally you would want to lay these odds. We have an awful recent record against them. But the odds were set well before knowledge of Grimes leaving. Can see us starting shorter odds than this.

I'd prefer to put £50 on with the bookies and donate £1,300 if it came in thanks.
