Would think the agent is most likely source
Could easily be both. Player sold for more money or higher wage would benefit both most of the time. Sold for more best for the club. Higher wage best for agent.

If it is right that he has put in a transfer request he loses his % of the transfer fee on most transfers.

Can't predict us to win despite the relative form etc because it's another bogey team.

I always remain hopeful we'll break the hoodoo but I'll go with a draw in a game we create loads of decent chances.

If robins was still managing us would we have more points or less points thatn we have now after 29 games?

It doesn’t really matter at this point. Lampard is looking like an excellent appointment though.
The last 3 games have really boosted him. We’ll only know how good the appointment is at the end of the season. There seems to be a renewed spring in their step

but you’re right - it’s immaterial as to where Robins would have got us. Fact is - he’s gone and Lampard is here

Don't care. I hate these sort of posts I prefer to deal with reality.

Compared to what they were before, they're shite. I was first there in 1966, school hols b-i-l was in the RAF stationed there, and travel all over, Golden Bay without the hotels was fabulous, no road, the only way onto the beach was a swim from a boat!!
The people loved the Brits then and altho the older generation still do a bit, the youngsters only see us a source of income and tourists to rip off.

To be honest our away form has not been that good.
Norwich battered us in the second half with a weakened team and the two late goals reflected the pattern of the match, even if we were unlucky in the end. At Blackburn, we could have been three down before we scored.
We need Dovin to continue his great form and the rest of our defending needs to be on it.
Lamps needs to speak to our players about raising their arms to push players. A less lenient ref is going to send someone off for that.
Phillips said bogey teams are at the forefront of players minds if things start going wrong.
Take a draw, but hope our upturn in form lately will be translated into better away performances.

I'm in the we'd have a few more and the football is less entertaining camp but we'll never know. The thing that irks me is people that have to make out one or other is bad or had lost it. No reason at all they can't both be decent managers. Robins may well flop at Stoke (everybody does) but he made us what we are today and if Lamps takes the next step they can both have a statue for all I care. Ain't Franks fault Robins got the boot.

Important thing now is that we get something from the next two. We don't really want to end up back 9/12 off. If we can match 6th place over the next 5 with players to come back - it's on!

Well said.

Not an easy fixture at the best of times. And they will not want a 4th defeat in a row, least of all at home. The Grimes saga may also stiffen their resolve.

Still think we can win, in the manner of the Blackburn game. Just think the Grimes business has reduced the likelihood.

Jamie Allen has his last hurrah before being benched for Grimes?

I think the Grimes saga will increase our chances of a result, personally.

Swansea losing their captain and nearly always present glue that holds them together is going to have a big impact on them.

Not having Grimes running the show against us is going to make our job much easier. Can't remember the last time I looked forward to watching a new signing play for us like this one. Once EMC and Wright are back we will have enough to worry any side. Just a shame we brought the Leeds game forward.

Not so sure myself. They will be super motivated to show they can play without him.
They aren't a good team and they don't have a player anywhere near has quality to replace him. Sure they'll huff and puff more but they are a much worse team without him.
