Nothing to do with his time at Stoke. I’m certain Robins would still be in the job if he’d stuck with the team that served him well last season.

My understanding is a player has to sign and the league to have ratified the move by 12 noon the day prior to a game taking place. That is Friday for a Saturday game.

Plenty of times in the 21/22 season Vik missed absolute sitters.

He’s obviously a much better footballer, but there were plenty at the time saying that Godden was the better natural finisher

Most of our recent announcements have been at 7.30pm or 8.30pm with a teaser 15 mins before. Reckon it will be announced tonight and he will do the pre-match presser tomorrow. Suspect there will be a gentleman's agreement that he won't play Saturday.

We've had an announcement about Rhys Carr already today. Maybe that's our lot for today now. Hope not though

Vik has already outscored Matty in his career & is 7 years younger.

Matty was nvr the player he was after that sitter he missed at Sunderland first match of playoff season.
The 1-1 where Vik scored a Worldy.

Yep. His finishing improved as his confidence grew but he was never the most natural finisher.

I don’t know if it’s just a nostalgic thing for me, but I don’t see complete technical finishers anymore like Van Persie, Henry or Eduardo…but I guess in the same way you don’t often anymore see midfielders that specialise in smashing in 30 yarders like Gerrard, Riise or Lampard.

They are just bitter. They laughed when we signed Gyokeres so not exactly the best judges of character

Tbf from their forum it seems they are looking to blame anyone for their current issues. There's a few who see through it though and think they're screwed without him
