I think he made the right decision either way... You can't have the slow starts. MR got there but it took too long. Is Lampard the answer maybe not but we couldn't keep doing the same thing over and over.

We've come a long way...from our merch being sold from a trestle table under sisu, to now signing one of the best midfielders in the championship.

I don't think they're finished at Ryton yet, the new gym is in a temporary structure, I believe the intention is to errect a more permanant building in the summer. I don't think you can ever rest on your laurels in football, continuous improvement is where it's at.

Because there's no way that kind of stuff gets out. Some of our resident ITKs are better than others, I think that's proven over time. I have supported the club for over 50 years and we have had some proper clowns over much of that period. King isn’t perfect but he’s been much better than most of his predecessors.
