Having seen us earlier in the season at their place it was one of the most one sided games I have ever seen, we were abysmal.
having seen how we played then my initial thoughts are we will get beaten again however Leeds arnt the same team away from bellend rd and have drawn a lot of games including Blackburn, Hull and Preston. They even lost to Millwall earlier in the season. Their defence away from home has leaked goals and they have been involved in some high scoring games.
my brain says a 2-2 draw but Ive a sneaky feeling we could nick it if we can cope with their high press attack

Had a look yesterday to see if their 7-0 was one of those games where everything they hit went in.
It wasn't - they had 29 attempts on goal!!
I wonder how many attempts Cardiff had. Saw the highlights and Leeds always seemed to go through either flank and send in low crosses for tap ins.

Got to win the midfield battle and put pressure on them as well. Otherwise they’ll tear you apart. We’ll need to use our full squad in terms of whoever is fit and ready. I expect to see EMC and Grimes play some part in this.

So long as the men don't show up petrified and over awed like in the limp reverse fixture, we should have a decent match up...

Good to get Grimes on the bench to offer top class Allen a bit of competition. Haji and EMC have been anonymous for the last month, time to recall Godden back to the starting XI.

Without Taveres we could be in very big trouble, and only squeak out a 4-2 win through a Simms hat trick and a Torp converted soft penalty.

Obviously i want us to win would be awesome, however if we lose I'm literally not arsed, even if we completely fall apart and get battered, again not arsed.

We gotta remember where we are and where Leeds are, they are levels above us. That is no disrespect to our squad, I actually think we have the 5th best squad in the league. Leeds have the best by a margin.

I'm praying our boys turn up without any pressure, carry on as you have been and take the game to them. If that means we end up getting caught out 2 or 3 times and end up loosing so be it. But we have have to show up and be aggressive in possession and out of possession.

We beat them last season when we were playing arguably our best football. We lost earlier this season when we were playing arguably our worst football. This game should feature 2 fairly evenly matched teams in terms of form. Some pundits have predicted a draw. I’ll take that although I feel we can nick a win here if we show no fear, play the full 90 with intensity and are aggressive.

The nice thing about Cardiff getting absolute twatted is if we get only slightly twatted it still looks good. Even if we lose 5-0 it’s like “well at least it’s not seven”.

Lampards got history with dirty Leeds so hoping he can mastermind a win again. Really want to see how we get on in this system against them though, but if it doesn’t work it’s no shame. Like you I think Leeds are streets ahead of anyone else in the division. Total free hit.

But I think we have the ammo to do these

What’s the history between Lampard and Leeds?
'Spygate' where Bielsa sent his staff to watch Lampard's Derby team train through a hedge outside Derby's training ground

Whilst not breaking any rules per se, Lampard takes exception and believes it to be un-sportsman like and Bielsa reveals it is pretty commonplace in South America and he has done the same against every other side in the League

Leeds then play Derby again in the play offs and crumbled in the second leg at Elland Road so Lampard gives them some stick back

And of course there are Lampard's Chelsea connections who Leeds don't really like

Tbh the spygate thing was a bit of a molehill made into a mountain and was perfect for Sky and the media to hype a game up

Not breaking any rules? They got a massive fine.

Why are Leeds and Chelsea rivals? Always seemed a bit random (and TBH one sided from Leeds end)

A pretty ill tempered cup final in 1970 started it... The Service Crew and the Headhunters continued it

It did a bit of a death when Abramovich took over at Chelsea and Leeds imploded financially but neither set of fans would say they like eachother

I lived up there for 18 months, it doesn't even come close to Man United, that was unbelievably fierce and absolutely mutual on the Man Utd side as well

This will be another good barometer for life under Frank, now we seem to have found our way of playing and some form, this is the first really difficult test. These sorts of games were Robins' biggest strength and he always seemed to have us up for them, especially at home. As good as the Watford and Swansea results are, they're not in the same difficulty level as the Leicester and Leeds home games last season, or the Wolves and Middlesbrough away games.

Regardless of the result, it will be interesting to see how Frank approaches this now we're in form, will we take it to them, or sit off and give them too much respect?
