It’s clear that the new manager has been given a free pass for the rest of this season - how long will it last into the next season ….
Hope they get relegated
And a full house at most Championship stadiums. Now that would bring a smile to many neutrals faces.
They ain't getting relegated, there's lesta, southampton, ipswich and wolves that are fighting for that honour
As Rangnick said they are rotton to the core and it's going to take complete overhaul to get them on the right path again, they seem to accept this now.
Just watch the funding come from govt to improve the ground! It is surreal to see how far they’ve fallen since Fergie left. Never thought I’d go into watching Man Utd games as often as I do expecting them to get beat. Their owners have to take the brunt of the blame though, horrendous way to takeover and run a club.
I'd take it that all of them could be shit for a bit with each of them winning a trophy once or twice a decade. Quite enjoying Man City's poor form and wouldn't be amiss to seeing Liverpool do the same next season.I could watch them be shit for as long as I live, I'd take City and Liverpool taking turns to win it every year if it meant Man United never won as much as a League Cup for as long as I draw breath - As someone eluded to further up this thread school was full of United 'fans' all high and mighty just cause they took the easy option of supporting them when they were good
That being said, they are too big of a club to be shit forever and they will come back - I do think they need to be invested in Amorim for the long run, I like the cut of his jib and I do think in the very long run he will sort them out
Fergie knew exactly when to get out, he wasn't thick and he would have done it a year prior if Aguero hadn't scored that last minute winner against QPR - He knew that team was way past it's cycle and that is why they spent so heavily on Robin Van Persie who was approaching the end of his prime just to see Fergie off on a League title
Yeah, they play well as a counter attacking team but when a team sits in against them they can't break them down.I think Amorim has done well against the "top" clubs and struggled against the "lesser" PL clubs.
Without going game by game and in depth, pretty much every lower club they've played against, they've lost but turned up vs City, Arsenal etc.
Be interesting to see how it plays out. Personally, think it's the same shit regurgitated. I'm in the same boat as a 90s kid seeing every c**t supporting them, but there's plenty of other plastic "fans" around now in the likes of City, Arsenal and naturally Liverpool are creeping back in more recently.
