Yes. He thinks both Eccles and Sheaf will go and we will bring 1 in to replace. Which may be where the Tahirovic noise is coming from

Still

A midfield 5 of

Grimes
Tahirovic
Torp
Rudoni
Allen

Wouldn't be bad would it

It’s a solid midfield, for definite. It does feel a bit short though. Whether or not we’re playing 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 you’d expect 2 players per position. Maybe we bring in a 10 who can play wing or vice versa could work?

Jamie Allen is 30, and not sure of his consistency. He's strung a few good performances together, but he hasn't been played regularly in the past because he's been ineffective.

Last season once he came back from injury in September, he started most games until he was injured again in February.

He played 37 games in the play off season, starting 34 consecutive games before getting injured.

He started 29 times the season before that, including starting 13 consecutive games at the end of the season.

He’s a good player, in Football Manager terms, he’s a solid 2.5 or 3 star player.

Season we came up he barely played.

21/22 season it was hardly surprising he played regularly, our midfield options were him, Kelly, Sheaf, and Hamer, and Kelly spent most of the season out injured. We played a box midfield that year.

22/23 if you remember, we played a box midfield again and had a massive shortage of midfielders, O'hare spent the season out injured. Allen was played out of necessity.

23/24 he missed most of the season.

24/25 he's missed most of the season.

Talk shite and move the goalposts. I thought he didn't play because he wasn't consistent enough.

The nightmare would be them beating us in the P/O final at Wembley.

The dream is us beating them and O’Hare crying on the pitch while we sing “it could have been you” as Hamer rips up his Aheff Utd contract and signs one with Doug.

OK, I was just talking but if you want to get hostile about it (y)

This is what I said...

And yes, I think there have been times where he's been overlooked because he doesn't play at the high levels he has sometimes displayed.
