Same team to start that started against Swansea.
Grimes and EMC brought into the squad, Perry and Howley drop out.

I shan’t be beating us up too much if we get beat tbh, these are a good side and whilst a loss is never good it wouldn’t be a disaster, we’ve shown what we can do the last few weeks and games against Leeds aren’t going to define us

Their front three of Solomon James and Piroe are basically a cheat code in this league so a big test of the defensive improvements inbound

I think Grimes starts. He's cup tied on Saturday. Big marquee signing, and we're playing the leaders. We need an experienced sitting DM for this match. Wouldn't surprise me if Torp makes way

Got a feeling this could be a spicy one. Ref loves dishing the yellows out.

Fair but hard tackling needed from Thomas and Kitchen on their forward line early. Get the crowd going.

Tricky isn't it, home fa cup game, another game next Tuesday and midweek does make it more of a challenge.

Suspect there will be a late surge tomorrow and will still be circa 28-29k.....which is not bad!

Understand we didn't want the game tomorrow but had to relent.

Not that long ago 15000 would have been a good crowd now 28-29k is not bad

With the cup game on Saturday, and Grimes in particular being unavailable for that, i would start him in this one
Can’t see him being thrust straight in from the start, good player yes and fit certainly but enough time to integrate properly yet? Not sure, off the bench for me. Allen has a proper engine on him so will be fine

He also barely played. It’s not like he (or a lot of the team) has played 30 games this season. Allen has played 884 minutes or less than 10 games. Kitching 1261 (14). Simms 1478 (16).

The top four are MvE, Rudoni, Thomas and Lats, Eccles is the only other one above 2000 minutes. MvE doesn’t have a backup and the CBs are CBs so don’t put that many km in. Rudoni is the only one I’d slightly worry about tiredness.

Said all season Leeds are head and shoulders above any one else in the league and I'm still pissed off thinking about our performance up there earlier in the season.

2-0 Cov. Grimes to start.
It was the only time this season we have been genuinely outclassed, every other game we have lost we have at least been competitive, we either chucked a result away ourselves or missed numerous chances to win

But we didn't even lay a glove on them at Elland Rd it was just a grim 90 minutes of football

When we played them at Elland Rd last season we absolutely did a number on them and snatched a point and if I remember rightly there was a bit of an on field ruckus at the end, Thomas scored I think and himself, Lats and Kitching proper riled them up

Kitch is a boyhood Leeds fan so suppose he is always gonna be up for this

That was when that little rat Summerville refused to shake hands after the match.

More of the same please lads.

It’s a more professional approach now from Frank , as he explains his decisions to each player, so nobody is left in the dark .
The squad will be used fully over the next months & we will all see the benefit of an arm around them & proper dialogue, when he makes the changes .
A cheeky 2 - 0 to the super Skyblues & Grimes plays the 90
