So Lampard has made no secret he's in the market for a winger. Something we didn't manage to do in the window. So it's either free agents or wait till the summer. Everything seems to point to him as a free agent winger. Been here before. 1 in 7 record across his career which isn't to be sniffed at. Would bring a bit of experience to to a young squad. We know he's got pace. But then the question begs..... why is he STILL a free agent? Why did Fenerbahçe let him go after only 8 appearances? Why has nobody else snapped him up?

Wages i assume? i doubt he'd want to play in the champ unless it was a sheff utd, burnley or leeds
Saying it as if he's got a choice of prem teams to play for. Teams aren't exactly falling over themselves for his signature. Does that not seem weird? Why has he been a free agent for as long as he has?
And you can't say "I played for Rangers, therefore I'm automatically prem standard" when we all know Scottish prem is Championship standard at best.

im not saying hes prem standard, what im saying is he thinks he prob is, and will wait out for a ipswich/southampton to offer £30k and risk the relegation, rather than cememt himself in a solid champ side.

No free agents for me now it's too late to get them match fit with games coming thick and fast. Kent when he was with us was a bit like OHare (except for that patch last January February when he scored goals for fun) got fans up out there seats but often no end result.

Always seemed to beat the man then not know what to do after, was a bit frustrating in that. Because it used to be look ‘GO ON’ then he’d fluff the easy bit after doing the hard work

He was fairly young and inexperienced at the time though! Surely working with various coaches over the years has improved his game.

What coaches? Hes been without a club for months. If he was any good, others would have taken him on. Its a no from me.

Yes only 19 when he was with us. His final ball wasn't good but he often occupied two players which created space for others in different areas of the pitch.

But not for me this one, despite his ability to play on both wings.

Honestly why bring in another player we have no need for?

Another supporter who thinks Football Manager is like real life football.

We have plenty of players that can ‘do a job for city’ and they are already part of our squad.

Just brings back memories of those players that were brought in, paid a wage and were shit.

Aiyegbeni Yakubu anyone?
