I do wonder if the previous purchase restrictions they put on for Leeds affects it. Personally as long as they keep their mouth shut or get kicked out if they don’t I couldn’t care less if a couple of Leeds fans want to pay to be in our end.
Hospo was full of them last year

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Leeds are top for a reason. If we can get to halftime at 0 - 0 we could snatch it, but this is not a game for mass changes and taking risks. A hefty humiliating loss could set back the recent progress

Don't think anyone is getting ahead of themselves, we need play a solid back 5 as they attack from the wings and I think we are very open down both sides.Fill the midfield get in there faces early, time for Simms up top on his own see how we are getting on then go for it last 20 minutes.Looking forward to it didn't expect us to beat them last season at home so you never know.

As good as Leeds are, they've only won 5 out of 14 away games. As always, first goal feels massive.

I would bring Grimes in, he's too good to leave out especially given the quality of the opposition. Probably for Torp.

think I’d be tempted to go 541 from the start.

Saka Grimes Allen Rudoni
Simms

Try and double up on the wings and leave the CBs to cover the box.
Get the idea as they play a 4-2-3-1 so will be looking to the wings to overlap but think we should be brave here and stick to the 5-3-2.

Put them under a tight squeeze and see if they can play out of it or lump it long. If we can nick a goal then switch to protect.

The only teams to beat them have all played 4231 TBF…

Feeling oddly excited/nervous about tonight. It shouldn’t really define our season so don’t know why. Maybe feels like a win could be a big sign of where we truly are?

Our midfield players of Allen , Rudoni, Torp , have all done enough recently to earn their retention in the team. Not sure where Grimes fits in whilst we are playing so well. Maybe as a sub to start to shore things up if its close. Sakamoto is the one that still disappoints a little at present.

Strong chance many of us will be sitting next to a Leeds "fan". Growing up in the early 70's most of us were sat next to a Leeds fan at primary school. I spot quite a few who changed their allegiance to the Sky Blues, but when ever i see them , i still think "Leeds fan" !

really don't need them to be scoring in the first 6 minutes (like they have done in 3 of the last 4)

Keep it tight for first 15 or so and keep playing to our strengths

Feel Robins gave them far too much respect in the away game so hopefully wont make the same mistake tonight

What's the best phone number for the ticket office at the CBS?

Heart says 3-1, head saying a draw. Have a nagging feeling they will score a late equaliser after we batter them all game. Either way it would be a positive result and hoping to see EMC given a cameo to terrorise their defence.

Leeds are a dominant force and the only time they look like they may conceded is with quick breaks or being caught out with wingbacks entering the box late.

I can sense a red card tonight, they're a very physical team and we need to be up for the fight. Leeds like to be strong in the challenge and if we match it, we could get them to bite... Ampadu maybe? We have to put pressure on Tanaka when on the ball, cannot let him in the game, it will be a really tough game for our midfielders. High Line will be a challenge with their pace too so I'd expect to see 5 at the back with caution going forward with MVE + Bidwell. Leeds press very high so I'd expect 2 up front with a long ball scrappy style of play, using Simms and BTA physical presence to work chances. I'd retain Allen and switch Torp for Grimes see how we get on.

Reality is we're in a great position with them writing us off already, it's got a win all over it if we're up for it...
