The race for 5th and 6th is a weird thing isn't it, because everyone puts so much on it but realistically the 2 teams that get the spots will probably do fuck all anyway. Other than the fact we always beat Blunderland I suppose.

Usually the case, but They do prevail sometimes.
Be quite happy to grab one of those spots and see what happens!

it wasn't to be fair

it was not bad considering how it went early doors

their fans weren't great either to be fair

Unfortunately it's shite when the people around you are sat down in safe standing area.

You were right months ago about the people in that end.

Nah I reckon the 5/6 place teams do better than they "should" most of the time.

Of course! I'd love a pop at them, I just don't see any of the teams floundering around for those 2 spots doing anything. The fact we still have a chance doesn't say much for anyone 5th downwards.

Nobody was sat down in the standing bit by me?

Are you the standing up and singing police? It's weird. I bet you're the one who likes people to sing so you can turn round and pretend to be a conductor.

Back to life, back to reality. Couldn't get near them.
Reminded me of us against Oxford last year.
Needed a firing Haji today.
Leeds were brilliant except for their finishing.
An insight into what it would be like in the PL with this team.

Atmos was always gonna go flat after 2 early goals. Was buzzing up until they scored.

Biggest game of the season and we didn't show up first half. Couldn't do the basics on top of Leeds being a very good team. Needed a goal before HT so Leeds couldn't just see the game out 2nd half.

Could've easily have been 6-0 in the end.

Grimes very tidy player.

Think it was set up all wrong which Hindsight is a beautiful thing, we needed to probably go 433. Push their fullbacks deeper with more in attack, limiting their overlap. They smashed us down the wings, we needed to press harder we seemed to sit off them and give them too much respect the amount of times they strolled 10 yards forward pissed me off.
They were better, quicker, smarter and more aggressive. That felt like a performance from earlier in the season.
Atmosphere started decent but just as the team did we (fans) had the stuffing knocked out of us.
Anyways we had to lose at some point, its not the fact we lost that pisses me off its the manner of the defeat just didnt turn up and expected the best team in the division to roll over and let us win

The game reminded of Ipswich last season. A team in form came here to do a job and executed it well. A class above us, we need to invest some big money if we are serious about promotion as the league is improving each season.
Grimes looked class we need to build around him in the summer.
We need to see how Wright comes back and if he stays but BTA and Simms are not the answer.
Not sure at this point about defence. Seems harsh to let Kitch go but the rest are replaceable.

he stuck with the same winning team, it didn’t work, he knew what to do and changed it, we looked better…

Isn’t that the sign of a good manager?

If you want a bite you could argue Robins wouldn’t have known what to do and probably made standard 70 minute like for like changes when we were 5-0 down, maybe?

Leeds are just head and shoulders above any other team we’ve played
Grimes for Allen and 4 in midfield was the call
No biggy he stuck with the team that had won a few games

Leeds pressing was too intense and we struggled with that.

They're a much better team on today's showing so it's difficult to pass judgement on our performance.

Our players confidence is fragile though as heads went for first half after the goal.

Simms and dovin actually had good games despite the errors.

Too timid 1st half against the best team in the league by miles

At least we won't have to play them again for a while, they are a level above even Sunderland, Burnley and Sheff United

Leeds are light years away from us. The one thing that stood out was the pace across the team. We are so slow. Thomas, Lati and Torp all showed up. Torp is ridiculously slow. Thomas and Lati are so poor on the ball for modern centre backs at this level.

The amount of times they picked the ball off us even when we made a good pass. The class and that extra split second in alertness and speed showed.

some times it wasn't even a bad pass, one less than perfect touch and they would swarm on our player
