Wish they would just do it then. How long do they have for the free agent deadline?

part of me thinks that if we were going to sign him it would have been weeks ago now. Would it make sense to get him in now when we have EMC, Wright and Sheaf back soon? I actually think he’d be a decent low cost signing but if he’s not going to play then what’s the point - Sean Maguire prime example of this.

I would assume he wants a multi year deal and we don't want to offer that. It should of been easy for the club to deal with this. If we thought he is worth a deal until end of the season put it in front of him with a deadline to sign. If he doesn't want it then tell him not to show up at Ryton, its truly pointless otherwise.
