Might as well get this started with some early team news:

Friedel, Bale, Parker, Dempsey, Caulker and Assou-Ekotto will start, according to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge on Twitter.

Bale. That'll be easy then...

I'm hoping for a draw as I always find some hilarity in people suddenly being desperate to go the Ricoh and calling up Bob Brolley "in disgust".

well every player i have bet on has scored in there next match so far this season...so sheffers should be a certainty....

I hope so my student loan doesn't go in for a few more days so it could be a nice earner. I don't know why but I have a really good feeling about today, hope I am right.

That wouldn't be bad scoreline at all I don't think.

Just a half decent effort where we are competitive would be great. I have no good feelings about today at all. I can only see defeat, but that's fine. This is Spurs on their home turf and we are League One.

Would like to have seen Fleck ahead of either Sheff or Baker. Neither did particularly well and I think players like him and Barton would do better against a Prem team that gives you more time on the ball. Going to be hard to break down a Prem defence and I'm not sure the running f baker and Sheff will do it.

The FA have just said they are giving us a two goal lead and rush a goalie. We can win this!

Happy with that. I hope Elliott has a part to play today. He deserves another crack.

Murphy, Clarke, wood, edge, Adams
Baker, moussa, Jennings, Bailey
Leon Clarke, sheff

You are not wrong there...extremely strong. To be fair if the City put up a reasonable performance against that team we can all look forward to a good second half of the season. With the bench they have as well anything less than a 4 goal hiding will be pretty good. With that squad now I can see them really pushing hard for 3rd place in the premiership, I do hope we do not get hammered.

Luckily I don't watch any Premiership stuff so I have no idea if their line-up is strong or not. Head in the sand me.

That's a strong line up Spurs have put out! Bench isnt too bad either!

Still cant bet against City though so ive gone for some silly bets!

I'm at work, can't listen to the radio so I'm relying on you lot as the BBC text is usually at least 8 or 9 minutes behind.
