Only 3 off the playoffs….that Norwich result could be costly, although, I think it’s been the catalyst for our current form. PUSB

I really hope Leeds don't break our spirit on Wednesday because we've been playing as well lately as we did pre season. Remember the optimism after Everton and Werder Bremen

We need to average 1.75 points to hit 70 (which will be enough for the playoffs this year)

Since Lampard took over we’ve averaged 1.85 points per game

There were more than a few on here that were way over the top early in the season with their threat of relegation predictions.
Even at our worst we were still capable of beating the top sides and the much maligned xg stats were showing consistently that we were creating a lot of goal scoring opportunities .
Some players who "bizarrely" were overlooked for a big chunk of the season are now getting a run of games and showing the folly in not starting them ...Simms,Dovin,Kitching to name three but others like Torp,BTA and even Allen are others .
In essence form is temporary, class is always permanent

Not just Leeds but the cup weekend other teams will play as well. There’s every chance we go into QPR 7-10 points off the playoffs through no real fault of our own (no one would blame us for losing on Wednesday). Will be important for players to keep their chins up if that happens.

The odds are we lost next two games

But I don't see it breaking this sides confidence or spirit tbh
That's how I see it too. Can't see our fans turning on the team if we lose those. If we then slip against QPR (who will have had a week's rest) then the grumbles will return. Hopefully it doesn't happen.

Doing well missing key players and have now strengthened in midfield

let’s be honest outside of the top 4 we have as good a chance as anybody for 5th or 6th

the truth is Leeds are good and we’ll get a hiding, the other 3 in top 4 are decent and the rest are bang average

no chance of relegation things are on the up

Only Burnley really other than Leeds tbh. We matched Sunderland and Sheff Utd with Collins in goal and Carr on the touchline.

After Leeds we’ve got a run against other midtable sides before Derby and that run of 2-4th back to back. Beating the majority of them will be key if we want a playoff push. Leeds and Ipswich are free hits.

Guys... I'm really worried about these last 3 points, my sheets are soaking are we going to make it seriously I can't do league 1 again.

Safety is looking like it’ll be the usual 44-46 points. We’re already safe.

odds to win play offs, as 1 of those will get autos with Leeds, means we are now expected to reach play offs
Currently looking like 67 will be enough. If we continue what we have been doing for the last ten games we’ll be at 73.

Burnley look excellent odds. Not winning enough games to make the top 2 but hardly ever letting a goal in.

They should win the playoffs and fancy them to beat anyone over two legs. However, in a one off game in the final, that can go out of the window.

I’m optimistic we’ll get in the playoffs so hoping we avoid Burnley by finishing 5th and taking our shot in the final if we get past (most likely) Sunderland.

Burnley in the semi-final playoffs and final playoffs will both probably go to penalties.

67 should be surpassed. As you say, it looks like we’re on target for 73pts. But last season we only got 13 pts/13 games so that is our first target. We were on 51 pts then.

Really not so worried about Burnley if we get that far we will beat them
They’re the one team I wouldn’t want to face. They don’t concede. If they’re in the play offs they’ll win them regardless of the two teams they’ll play. In that situation the rest have got a better chance of beating Sheffield United, Sunderland or Leeds.
