After Wembley, when the song was played in full and I only knew the words to the chorus, I learned them for next time. It was great to carry on to singing the second verse yesterday - it’s the first time I’d done it. I read the message above about holding scarves up and maybe we should do that too - it looks great when Hibs fans do it singing Sunshine on Leith. I hope to be able to belt out all the while song at Wembley soon 🩵

what is wrong with saying a song that is not about coventry is not about coventry?

you have a weird obsession with things having to be "cov", you'll never walk alone is not about liverpool, blue moon is not about manchester and it doesn't really matter. why do you need to pretend it's about coventry? it has no impact on it's value as a football song

You should able to do whatever you want with it haha. Amuses me how annoyed people can get at how other fans choose to celebrate. Personally I think it’s a great song and fantastic to have an anthem associated with the club. I always sing the Eton Boating song, but have never been a fan of the tune itself.

Aside from everyone seemingly clapping to their own personal rhythm about 5 seconds in I like it, I particularly like that the lyrics 'toilet smells of desperation' are part of a song used to gee up a team before a match.
